Trunks did talk shit and play around with frieza, cold, and the androids a little its just that he was so much more powerful at those times he easily killed them afterwards. What if cold transformed and was almost as strong as 17 or 18 in his final form? It could have got ugly fast or if they just blew up earth like in resurrection f.

Trunks was actually my introduction to DBZ. One of the greatest character introductions in any anime. Ever since then he's been my absolute favorite fictional character. Total bad ass, and even his exit in DBZ where he fights 17, 18 and Cell are amazing entries.

This scene was literally transformative for me. I stopped watching DBZ on Toonami because I was tired of rewatching the same sagas on a loop over and over again: anybody from the time should know what I'm talking about. One day I happened to flip back, and the first thing I see is a guy with purple hair and a sword. Who's that? What's a Super Saiyan? Why's Frieza a robot? I was glued to the show from that moment on. That's not even mentioning how the next time I watched "Rock the Dragon" I realized that Super Saiyans had always been there, and I thought it was just a shiny aura.

7:49- What makes it more awesome was that the move finally being tossed with ease. This same move used as an unrefined, massive ball to wipe out Planet Vegeta, Bardock, and his own soldiers; used a desperate, unrefined move used by his 70% form to destroy the original Planet Namek irrevocably that Goku couldn't even prevent; this more refined move that's likely stronger than even the previous two combined, using by an even stronger than his 100% (or slightly equivalent/weaker in the original manga)....is casually held up like it's no big deal- even when he himself caused it to explode, Future Trunks managed to escape it in an instant. At that point, it was obvious that Freeza's ace had been demolished, the previous danger (at the time before Resurrection F came around) was gone and Future Trunks was about to make short work of him. Ending the long shadow Freeza had over the series and bringing in the new era that the Super Saiyan would bring.

The uncut image of cut in half Frieza shows what Frieza looks like on the inside and you can see an error in the image. The image don't show Frieza's brain or his bones. The image shows Frieza as nothing but meat or muscle on the inside. Oops. Frieza for some reason also didn't bleed when Trunks cut him in half.

I knew a little bit about Trunks long before this even aired on Toonami just because I grew up in Hawaii so we got a lot of things first because of Japan. I just didn’t know when he was coming to the show and when I saw this for the first time, I was blown away because I was a little skeptical not of him being a Super Saiyan that looked like a human but I didn’t know about the whole Android Frieza part. I knew at this moment that the show was taking another crazy turn and I didn’t know what to expect next which was even more badass.
