Some of this is out of date. Chester for example accept non science degrees and Swansea is a UCAT and GAMSAT uni

Our apologies, you are right. Chester accept any degree subject and Swansea will accept both UCAT and GAMSAT aptitude tests. Thank you for pointing it out

Just to let you know, some of this is outdated, for example Swansea now accept UCAT or GAMSAT :)

And a C is equivalent to a 4 no?

For swansea

Yeah! Cambridge now uses the UCAT for graduate medicine, not no admissions test

Thank you for the useful video, I had a question, are these competitive ratios for international applicants as well, or, if not I wanted to request a video or some sort of guidance for international applicants with UK undergraduate degrees, and competition ratios specific to them. thank you
@FutureDoc2 ай бұрын
Competition ratios are much higher for international places at undergraduate medical schools, this is because most universities have a cap for international student places of around 10% of their intake. Consider this when applying. We will take your request under advisement, thank you.

@ Thank you for your response, I appreciate it. Actually, I am planning to apply to graduate entry medicine, as an international, but I will be graduating with a degree in BSc from the UK. How are the competition ratios for that. Could you advise me on that, and if possibly help us with a video specifically for internationals. Thank you

Do these universities make a selection based on nationalities? (ex. Do they prefer English applicants to international students or the make a selection based only on grades, extra activities etc…?)
@FutureDoc2 ай бұрын
There is a differentiation between 'home' students and 'international' students. There are typically less places available for international students (less than 20% of the whole cohort) so there is much higher competition for these seats.

What abt international students should they don’t have A levels ?

You may have sat equivalent exams in your home country. Check the individual university entry requirements on their websites.
