Medical Doctor Degree Apprenticeship: Is It Worth It?

6:15 who said that only 18 year olds are interested?? Very uninformed and general comment, I am 40 and I am interested! I have a wealth of experience and skills that are transferable to this apprenticeship!

You are precisely right in that the apprenticeship is not only aimed at 18 year olds, there is criteria that enables those with a clinical background or similar to apply!

Is a degree earned through degree apprenticeship like the ( Bsc honours Diagnostic radiography ) the same as the one gained through university ? Is it recognised internationally the same way ?

If the apprenticeship is linked to a university and offers a degree like the one you have described, then yes, it is recognised as a degree as you will hold a university diploma.

So basically you do the same MBBS while also working 9 to 5, thus makes it much harder for students. Secondly, the NHS are making the apprentices do admin and non-clinical work which other trainee doctors don't do. Thirdly, once qualified, apprentices can't work abroad thus limiting your future career goals

Apprentices can work aboard actually. You achieve the same degree as somebody doing the traditional route.

I would advise looking at the entry requirements to be sure. As far as I am aware it is only open to those who have a right to work in England or have eligible residency status
