One of the creepier bosses I have encountered is Professor Hojo from Final Fantasy VII. Not only is his boss fight creepy, with the experiments he has performed on himself turning him into a Cronenberg mess, but Hojo himself is a disgusting, creepy person. In the original, he plans to forcibly breed Aerith with Red XIII so his successors can continue his experiments in Shinra's future, and in Remake, he openly suggests forcibly breeding her with SOLDIER candidates. This creepiness continues into Rebirth when he suggests to some women that they could, "help give birth to the world's next hero." If only they knew how literally he meant that...

Creepiest boss? "We take a little girl, abuse her, cover her in self-inflicted scars, tie her legs so she can't freely move, hang her for the ceiling and shake her to attack you so YOU need to kill her in self-defence... is that ok by any means? no. We gonna do it anyway? yes" Clara, the "mermaid princess" from Rule of Rose is one if not the most creepiest boss I ever seen not just by her looks but also by her meaning.

One of the creepiest boss battles has got to be the broodmother from DA:O. The lead up to it, the lore, and how it looks are all so disturbing they belong in a horror game, not an RPG.

Not technically a battle, but I remember playing the DLC to Cyberpunk and, spilers: when you go into the bunker at the end of the DLC you need to blow up some servers to shut down the core. When it made that apparent to me, and I was sneaking, I blew up a couple of the servers in that room only to have that robot dog scream around the corner like a lightning bolt. I blinked and he had a drill through my face's soft bits. And hard bits. And harder bits. And probably the floor. It just floored me and made me fear a simple killing machine while it waxes philosophical...

Creepy boss, i know not a deep cut but the final boss of control's awe expansion (the doctor from Alan wake) is creepy being mutated by both the darkness and the hiss creating a monstrosity that frankly came from nightmares

An boss "fight" that still haunts me to this day is Anima from evil within 2. I know it's more of an stealth section rather than an fight but I think knowing that it's an enemy you can only hide from makes the multiple encounters with her even scarier. Plus I played it with dual shock controller and hearing her voice as if she was standing right behind me was a pure nightmare.

Creepiest boss has to be the mutant baby from resident evil 8 in house beneviento. It comes out from nowhere and you’re powerless against it. Loved it.

A personal creepiest would have to be the first major boss of Baulders Gate: Dark Alliance. A giant floating eyeball with tentacles on its head?! And when it dies all the blood that sprays from it definitely gave me a few bad dreams as a kid.

The Mini Game in M.K. 3 (S.N.E.S. Ver.) that requires putting in a lengthy code on/with the controller. It's brutally difficult. I seem to remember you could only get a single free ship. It would also tell you that "You Suck.? in the same tone as"Finish Him."

Khezu from the monster hunter franchise is pretty creepy but my vote is for Metyr the mother of fingers from the shadows of the Erdtree. Could have went my whole life without knowing where the finger creepers came from, but now I know they came from that amalgamation of fingers and thumbs with a gapping maul in its chest.

I'll nominate the Dimensional Shambler battles in Call of Cthulhu. Not only can you not fight back, you cannot *look* at your opponent for fear of attracting its attention. Also it's an interdimensional predator.

The Mermaid Princess from Rule of Rose: A surrealist memory formed from the childhood trauma of the main character, Jennifer, representing her limited understanding of the abuse the teenage caretaker at her orphanage endured at the hands of the orphanages headmaster. It takes the form of a pallid, cut-up girl hanging from the ceiling via rope tied around her legs, reminiscent of a mermaid tail. She attacks with sharp claws and vomit from an implied pregnancy that resulted from the abuse.
