I still use mine with some tweaks. Currently, a Tomahawk B650 with Ryzen 7 7700 and ARC770. I like the number 7.😅But I love this case so much as I use it already since 2011! All red RGB with a Dart Vader figure on the GPU. Got the side cut out and put some mesh on it, so it looks like Vader cut the side. It's still the coolest case I have... Though the HYTE 70... Will be the one for the next 10 years I think.:-)

@Blazenwave Cases this big exist becuase not everyone just puts the basic's in a computer tower. Some people put multiple HDD/SSD's, Video cards, Fans/water cooler's etc. All those components create heat, and all that heat in a smaller chasis is not a good idea. Big cases like these are supperior because of the benefit of increased air flow. Not to mention its more comfortable and less cramped while building your dream machine.

Yes. This case can fit the MSI big bang Xpower II and Corsair H100 at the top with push/pull. I own this case and there is enough room the the top if you remove that dust filter to mount 2 extra fans for the h100.

God I wish this was still available to buy!!! I have mine still but it's honestly been through the worst of the worst (i.e. House Parties)....no words to describe how damaged it is lol. Fortunately I bought my mother an ITX case, freeing up the Antec case that I got her a while back; as it turns out, albieit less impressive - it's a solid case; with some interesting HD Cooling Base options (2 removable HD bays with space for 4 drivers each, front-mounted with LED lighting)

I got this case and it's fitted with the H100 on top no problem... However if you use a round head screw from the H100 you won't be able to insert back the case removable filter. Use a flat head screw to mount the H100 instead.

Yes, it's a little bit difficult to get it in there because you don't have that much space between the sides of the case and the rad.

I worked on a build with Zalman Z9 case, it worked flawlessly. it is priced around 40-50€. I suggest you to go with the Z9 "plus" edition, that should come exactly in the price range you specified.

I have this and its a great case. I have to say though that i am thinking about downgrading to the slightly smaller Scout II case because the trooper is taking up a bit too much room in my small bedroom :(

Hab Ihn jetzt ca. ein dreiviertel Jahr und bin begeistert. Bin auch froh NICHT den CM Cosmos 2 genommen zu haben, da bei diesem die Lüfter Steuerung scheinbar Störgeräusche hinterlässt die ich bei meinem CM Trooper nicht feststellen konnte. Habe mir auch nachträglich die Seitenwand mit Fenster besorgt, das wertet ihn optisch noch ein wenig auf. Der Luftdurchlass ist so groß das selbst bei meiner alten Graka (AMD Radeon™ HD 7970 GHz Edition) die unter lasst bis zu 7 Sone laut werden kann, unter Volllast durch die Tower Belüftung (Stufe 3 von 6) so weit runtergekühlt wurde das sie mit max. 3 Sone zu hören war. Dieses 30 Grad Schräg Vorn und Oben liegende I/O und Usb Feld ist Optimal gelegen, wobei mein Tower freisteht. Bei unter Tischen eingeschobenen Towern wäre eine Alternative mit 60-70 Grad wünschenswert. Und davon als Mini oder Midi Tower wäre auch schön. Davon gibt es am Markt leider viel zu wenige, naja was solls. Ich finde Ihn SUPER, kann ihn guten Gewissens empfehlen und wenn Ihr ihn euch holt, viel Spaß damit. Grüße Rahi

Nice thorough review. Like the large number of 3.5 inch and 2.5 inch drives CM has designed for. It would be great if one could put a fan under the 2.5 inch bay rather than having to remove it. Need the bottom intake fan as well as the 2.5 inch 4 drive case. If I get this case will probably make this a mod.

Try powering on the PC by using a screwdriver to short out the power pins and boot it up. If you are unsure of how to do this google or youtube, there's plenty of tutorials out there. If it boots up your power button could be busted or you could have it hooked up incorrectly. Hope I helped.

I use H100 in that case, it works tho the fan filter at the top can be difficult to put in place because of the screws that holds te radiator... But works very well

Motherboards seldom have more than one USB 3.0 Header. I'd say they never do, but I haven't looked into it, so I'm not sure... but i believe there are either very few or no boards at all with more than 1 USB 3.0 header.

Floppy discs drives are useful because you know there still are floppy discs out there. My 2010 computer case comes with a 5.25 drive bay that you can turn it into a 3.5 bay for a floppy disc drive. I don't use floppy discs so I don't have one but hey it's a cool feature just in case you want a FDD.

The fans that come with it will be sufficient. But a couple 120mm's on the case door sure wouldn't hurt anything other then maybe extra dust...

It has room for 2 x 120mm fans so should be no problem for H100.

Corsair 400R are NZXT Phantom 410 are the best cases in that price range. I own the Storm Trooper myself.

Yes, you can, but I would not recommend it because it could get knocked out, and it wouldn't get as good of cooling as inside of the case.

This Case is nice. The only thing I'm disappointed about is that there is no cooling fan in the side door positioned over the Graphics Cards like on the HAF X & HAF 932 Cases. Otherwise I would have bought this case if it had a fan in the side door to cool GPU's
