How much time into the session should you use for the opening range. Like is the range you're going off of the first 10 min or something?

Demond, there are different strategies on this topic. The one I currently use is just 30 seconds to establish the opening range values, but if you look at market profile traders they look for the initial 60 minutes for the opening balance. My suggestion is to try 30 seconds, 1 minute and 5 minutes, overlay them all at the same time on one chart and observe for a few weeks. Remember, a lot of the success of this strategy is having a trending market, I pause this strategy altogether during periods of multi day consolidation. Hope this helps.

For opening range trades because they happen quick, are you using stream deck or any hot keys to scratch trades that don't quickly go to give yourself a couple shots at it if it lines up?
