I love how Eggman went from throwing a large guy out of a window with his bear hands to struggling to fight a 110 year old man because it shows how Eggman psychologically and physically got worse each movie. I'm not critising the way that Eggman got weaker I actually like it because it's extremely logical if you looked at his state each movie. Losing to Sonic twice and being stranded on the mushroom planet for a year really did make him weaker and I like it because in Sonic 3, Eggman was the most identical to how he was in the games

I actually feel bad for Ivo, at first he had a wonderful time with Gerald who just came out of nowhere suddenly, really warming up to him only to find out in the end his grandfather never cared about him, only about their deceased grandchild (Maria Robotnik)

I think deep down Eggman wanted a family or to have someone who understands him. He grown up in orphanage, only have one friend that he just realizes had and none wanted to date him. He thought he finally gotten his secret wish of having a family who understand him only to learn his grandpa was only using and never care for him. Gerald said that rest of his family is dead to him when Maria dies
