for 9:26, do you only hit these strings or strum all strings and mute the ones that are not needed?

is there any recommended hand position for the stratocaster? ive been using a bit more arm movement in order to comfortably play and i just wanna make sure that this isn't something i should worry about later on... good video btw!!!! will be using religiously!!!!
@lino58293 жыл бұрын
I like to relax my shoulders and elbow and let my wrist and hand get into a position that feels natural. Btw I’ll be getting back into tutorials soon. The audio and visual quality will be much better and I’ll explain things much faster :)

great video man btw is that a power chord if it is what power chord is it?

There is only an e power chord. The rest are incomplete A and B major barre chords. Hope that helps :)

Is this possible on an acoustic guitar? I just got my first guitar today
@lino58293 жыл бұрын
Yes! (even the solo can be played on acoustic steel strings) The only difference is the sound in general. Btw what guitar did you get?
@Erikson564 Жыл бұрын
man i just cant seem to make this work, even understanding what your saying and what im suppose to do it never sounds like it should even doing 1 strum

Are you not hearing the strings playing a sound completely? Is that the problem?
@ozzywatchesyt47202 жыл бұрын
This is really helpful, thank you, do you have any recommendations for my friend though? They feel as if they can't play the barre chords in this song since their index finger is smaller than their ring finger.
@lino58292 жыл бұрын
Glad it helps! I recommend learning cageyake girls. However, there's no need to include barre chords in any k-on song. You can just remove the other fingers (so only the 6,5 and 4 string are being pressed) to have a power chord :) Also, if he wants my discord server so me or some of my friends could teach him let me know
