To all those who say those are not the actual lyrics fudge them . This is how you translate songs . More important than the lyrics is the theme . Read the translated lyrics and then these . And then tell me which gives you a better idea of the pain in the song. That being said this was great . Though I doubt anyone can sound as in pain as in Yanos voice

The problem is not specifically related to the the lyrics. It’s that this “translation” destroys the time signature and rhythm of how the original vocals work. Kudos on maintaining the spirit of what was meant to be conveyed, but I’d hazard a guess that most people who appreciate the sentiment of the original song aren’t impressed.

@@LapisPhilos Uhh as someone who studies music the time signature and rhythm were not "destroyed" When translating from any language you have to keep in mind that words have different lengths in other languages, so I think the cover was actually done perfectly. And don't even get me started on Japanese grammar. If you listen closely to the original, his voice changes notes, even if he didn't change the word, this cover just added words in where he may have dropped or raised notes of the vocals if that makes sense. English covers are not meant to be exactly like the original. It's in another language for god's sake lmao. If y'all don't like this then don't comment on it, because it was very well done.
