When I watched this anime 20 years ago, I like the character of Miaka, but then I met Takiko the priestess of Genbu. I changed my opinion about Miaka she’s actually a weak girl who always call tamahome to rescue her. Takiko on the other hand, fought the Kutou army using her skill, without using the power of Genbu 😂. The bravest and the selfless priestess the Universe of the four gods could ever have.

Tamahome is a skilled fighter but Hotohori just demolished him in combat. The emperor's sword skills are top-notch and he didn't even get a scratch. I like it when Nakago said that he had a trap ready then it quickly showed who was part of it. I didn't figure it out first time watching this series!
