This game truly shows that it does not matter if you throw gas or you hit bombs. It just comes down to kids who have good baseball IQ. Great job to the opposing team for not being afraid of a 14 year old who throws 90! Opposing team just put their heads down and put their foot on the gas! Please pin

@@Wyattl. completely false… as a former pro, I can assure you they don’t care nearly as much about command, as much as they care about having movement on your pitches. You can command all you want, but if you have a straight fastball, it’ll get hit wherever you throw it. Movement is what is key.

All I saw is that the kid throwing 73-75 played 2x better than the kid throwing 92. Velocity isn’t everything, if you don’t know where it’s going then you aren’t a pitcher you’re a thrower.

@@Matthewbaseball10 I argue the opposite I went from 74-86 in four-five months you can teach velocity, control is a lot harder to teach. I’m not saying velo doesn’t play because it does but when you throw 50% strikes and throw 92 compared to someone who throws 62% strikes throwing 83-84 I’ll take the second guy all day.

This is no hate to the starter from prime but the other kid threw less pitches and got more efficient out just shows you don’t have to throw 90 to win ball games. You have to be a pitcher not a thrower. This kid will learn how to pitch tho. He is going to be really freaking good. He has an electric arm but has to learn how to control it. Which I believe he will and he will probably be throwing like 97 too so he gonna be a problem he just got to get there. No hate to anyone in this video
