It's easy to see why this series was canceled after 8 episodes. I was a senior in college when this was on the air and I don't remember even hearing about it, let alone watching it...

- I didn’t recognize her at first but her voice will forever be burned into my memory. and google confirmed it- that was indeed Margaret Hamilton herself in that Maxwell House commercial. Quite the Witch’s brew one might say!

And Conrad Janis and co-producer Bruce Johnson would go on from this to "Mork & Mindy."

Some of the sound effects, is definitely sourced from Star Trek The Original Series. In reading IMDB, the show definitely has its fan base.

It also didn't hurt that back then, you didn't have to get permission from, say, Paramount, to be able to use audio effects and music from other shows. You can thank Lucasfilm and Skywalker Sound for the serious tightening of copyright enforcement from the mid-80's forward. Thanks to them, everything's so territorial...

Futurama did an episode similar to this. The Planet Express ship lost all rational, logical thought after it broke up with Bender. So, Fry and Leela had to go inside the ship’s mainframe and disassemble the controls, while Bender was busy distracting the ship. If you haven’t seen it, please do, it was a great episode.

Monday night on Little House on the Prairie, terror strikes as wild dogs, crazed with hunger, attack the Ingalls' farm while Laura, Mary and Carrie are home alone. Michael Landon stars in Little House on the Prairie Monday night at 8, 7 central and mountain time, on NBC. Stay tuned for CPO Sharkey, next!

27:33 - Look like the CPT “Sunburst” logo was abruptly cut off since they did not complete the entire logo. That sucks. Later prints of this episode got plastered by the SPT “Line of Boredom” or possibly the new SPTS boring logo.

A sitcom way ahead of its time. I'm surprised Republicans' heads haven't exploded because a 1970s TV show was "woke" before woke was woke.
