FW450 V3 ESC V4 pt2 WTF i figured it out

Oh, the pesky Flywing ESC's. I can almost change them with my eyes closed by now 🤣. I haven't got the latest ESC yet, figure I'd wait to see if there are any issues with it. Once you have your wiring all laid out and connected, it's easy to just put the side frame on and zip tie the wires to the holes in the frame, the way it came originally. This way actually holds the wires perfectly out of the way of the gears, assuming that the wires are the same length as the older versions. Thanks for all your videos and the time you have spent breaking this all down. 👍

Thank you for the video. I ordered the same ESC V4 after the stock one stopped working after 10 minutes of practice flight with no crash, just hovering. I will wait for you to tell what happened before I install mine. But was it the polarity from the motor to the Esc. I thought you mentioned something about the polarity and the other Esc that worked fine but reverse.

Out of the box I have an issue with the V3 3d fw450. Calibrated on the PC as instructed, got the success message. Took off and only had full control for about 10 seconds. After that it started to climb and fly on its own. Stick movement on the radio did not matter, return to home did not matter, so I hit the stop switch and rotated back safely. If i had let it continue, the Hleli would have been lost. I have no idea what is going on but appears to be GPS related since I was in that mode.
