One of the absolute GREATEST Promos EVER. You know you're an epic HEEL when you tell people in an UK Pub "what are you drinking , beer ? you're a loser !" People get shot for less than that nowadays in England. The guy gets out there and humiliates them verbally about their "national pastime" lolz ! That's sick ! Only a guy with guts and legit vocal talents can do that IMO.

What CM Punk is doing here, and I know it's just his character, is using the hard-liner version of straight edge culture. You see, there are certain people who take the straight edge beliefs to such an extreme that they actually attack people just because they drink or smoke. These people are called hard-liners. And the man who invented straight edge, Ian Mackaye, was nothing like that. He was adamant about not forcing his beliefs on others. But it gives Punk a great angle as a heel doesn't it?

Love both these guys... but let's face it, CM Punk is a rehash of The Raven, granted he's a good one. It's kinda like David Bowe vs Nirvana's The Man Who Sold The World. Both great songs, but somehow, the new one is the one that's the most well known, and the new one that's getting all the publicity. But the original, the original is where it's at. This feud is one of those truly great iconic feuds IMO, and one very few people really know of.
