I'm still impressed by your battery situation. How can that battery last so long ? Some sorta wizardry

That's quite easy. I have used a GEPRC GR 2306,5 1350KV motor with an 8x4 folding prop. Battery is a 4s1p 18650 pack with ~ usable 2700mAh. On launch it barely takes 10A and I can cruise this plane at 3-4A. Flite times of 45 minutes are no problem, if you glide a lot it can do 1h and more I think.

It's pretty mandatory to have a flight controller on the plane to have all the telemetry information in your OSD and your RC. Look for INAV or Ardupilot, that gives you an idea how it works.
