I just love the concept of an Imperial Bike Cop. Overall though, it's amazing how far the Black Series has come in just one year. I remember unibrow Poe and potato-sack Luke like it was yesterday.

I think the first wave was great, and then theyve dropped the ball. Luckily, we have imports now, and that should motivate them to do a better job in the future.

@@lonewolfmcquade8879 oh, endor troopers would be sweet, especially the one with gray beard! By the way, are you into 3 3/4" scale too? I have R1 stormie and Vader standing on the desk, and they are both so perfectly sculpted (maybe exept for Vader, in a way that they removed bit of his armor around the neck to fit the rubbery cape - which is crap, and I removed it anyway, and because of that the neck looks weird). Do you know any site where one could check the release schedule for hasbro figures? Because I cannot wait for another Vader, with armor on top of his robes, unlike the R1 variant.

I like that you got law enforcement vibes bc that's exactly what he is. Thr Solo movie basically confirmed empirial planets had stormtrooper police and I loved that. He was in the movie barely a minute but I love the idea of cop troopers that I absolutely had to get several of them

Thanks to a good ( best ) friend I now have BS VAL n' BS IMPERIAL PATROL TROOPER . If BS VAL is any indication of where the Black Series is heading I will be seriously reconsidering any future import figure purchase . The face print technology seems to be getting better with each new figure .

Nice review, although I hope Mr. Robo revisits the Patrol Trooper - it sorta has modified butterfly joints at the shoulders, boot swivel (uncommon w/ Black Series figures), and the hip joints are interesting in a SH Figuarts way (take a closer look). I agree that the Solo figures have raised the bar in quality for the BS line. Look forward to the Rio Durant review, other notable articulation there too. Your team-up videos are enjoyable #moreplease

I agree, We Need a Corellia Han in the White Vest with His M-68 Speeder and a Kessel Run Qi'ra in the Black Pantsuit and White Jacket with a Red and Black Softgoods Cape. I also wouldn't mind a Quay Tolsite figure from Kessel, after seeing how well the 3.75" 5poa version of Him looks. I would also still like to get a Han from Vandor 1 in the Fur Coat to round out the Train Heist Crew. As for the Articulation on the Patrol Trooper, You missed the Bootcut/Calf Swivel, and also the Butterfly Joints in the Shoulders. With the addition of those 2 points of Articulation and the Different Hip Articulation, it's as if He were engineered to Sit Asride Something... Hmmmm... I wonder what that could be? C'mon Hasbro give Us His Patrol Speeder to Chase Han and Qi'ra in that Stollen blue Speeder!

Thanks for the review! I don't mind a conversation style review for multiple figures, but there are some production issues that are making it bog down a little. Maybe some lapel mics, especially when either turn away from the camera, and I'm not sure how you would do it, but the overhead camera is really dim. Obviously you don't want a big spotlight in y'all's face, but it was really hard to see details. It's nice to hear two buds talk toys and all. None of my friends collect.

The quality of the Solo figures has got me back into the Black Series, and the fact that Hasbro has completed the core characters! As the guys said, we need archive figures from Rogue One, they were awful and leave a big gap in my collection.

PLEASE check the chest.... pretty sure it has butterfly joints, and the chest armor is soft and pulled over the frame of the body... Pretty sure they are making a "base" chest and they just just drop different "shirts" over it.. increasing cost efficiently and with great possibility..but yeah, my right arm has the same issue with pushing down the shoulder plate to get full upward moment.

Good commentary, but not an ideal video for if someone wants to know the articulation for a figure. They completely missed the butterfly joints on the Patrol Trooper's shoulders. BUTTERFLY JOINTS. That's such a big new thing for Black Series! As well as the swivel on the lower leg pieces. Those extra bits of articulation on the legs makes up for the 45 degree angle ball joints in the hips.

I think L337 was one of the worst written characters in the entire SW movie lineup, and we are talking jar-jar level of BS, with the only difference that damn gungan led to some interesting theories being created. BB8 on the other hand is just an astromech made "cute", which I guess works from the marketing standpoint, but I'll still take good old astromech over him any time. K-2SO on the other hand... Well that is one hell of a well designed and written character. R1 in general was great. Not a pathetic attempt at pushing some stupid political agenda, but instead a story. And a good one on top of that if you ask me (albeit not great, which becomes especially visible once you browse the artbook and realise how much material was scrapped).

@@deadendkido really? I think R1 is great if you were exposed to some expanded universe. I havent read many books or comics (you could literary count all on fingers of 1 and a half hands, lol), but I have played the hell out of Jedi Knight. Seeing Cassian Andor and Jyn, which are clearly modelled after Kyle Katarn and Jan Ors was nice. Also, I think the gaps in their story, all the untold things make the film even better, as it allows you to weave your own story in your head. I personally loved Cassian, seeing as he was a spy and special agent, I think he was portrayed perfectly. As a professionalist, who does what needs to be done. Aside from Saw Guerrera, and perhaps Baze Malbus and Chirrut, I really think the entire cast of characters was tremendous. And the excellent performance of Ben Mendehlson as Krennic was the real icing on the cake. It was genuinely the only new SW movie that gave me shivers, and it was like that all 3 times I went to the cinema.
