Continued Series. Part 3. The 14th annual Top Truck Challenge. The Frame Twister and Mud Pit have claimed a few trucks, and repairs must be made before the start of a new series of obstacles. The 14th annual Top Truck Challenge from Hollister Hills Off-Road Park is the longest running specialty truck event of its kind in the country.

all the top truck challenges are great to me. i dont pay much attention to music. i grew up 4-wheeling so watching this is fun on rainy days since my crawler doesnt have anything covering the top but cage

Boggers suck in the rocks. They suck more when cut and groved. Less rubber on the tire means less traction on the rocks.

yeah it looks cool, but it's utterly hopeless... he should ahve stuck a Cummins in it and then he'd have had a chance but its WAY too long... I'm waiting to see it in the TT cause THAT will be crazy. The 4dr TJ/YJ thing and the Toyota/Mog are by FAR the best rigs out here. If the Yota had a Toyota 5.7L V8 or 4.5L V8 Turbo Diesel in it it'd be PERFECT.

Not necessarily. If you sipe every onther lug you get more scoop on them and can grab rocks a little bit better. Still not the best rock tires but just saying.

the 2015 truck line up was junk compared to this. dont get me wrong, i love gm c/k trucks but dang. there was like 9 of them in 2015. i guess its better then some years where stricktly mud boggers show up.

yeah...NO. I lived in OZ for years... and this is WAY harder terrain. May not be as long, and I LOVE me some Toyotas and Aussie trucks (as long as they're Toyotas), but NO, Aussie Tough Truck is nowhere NEAR as hard as even just the Tank Trap. It's 99% winching anyway. I lived out in the bush in Central QLD and I wheeled several hunderd thousand miles over 7+ years... this is WAY tougher terrain end of story.

2 of the top 3 are running mostly chevy running gear and shit bomb of a dodge had a Cummings in it and didn't get any further then the K3500 wich proly has 4ft extra length on it yes the k3500 wasn't built for this its obviously a mud truck. your just pissed because most of these trucks have chevys in them, all but the ranger, f-250, the bronco and the dodge, and the ranger is running a gm trany, front and rear axels, drive shaft and transfer case

The Toyota would be PERFECt if they'd get rid of that POS Shivvy lump and put a Toyota Turbo-Diesel in it.... I'm getting pretty tired though of this BS they're spouting about how "good" the stupid broad did. She failed from start to finish and hit ever cone in the park. 1 point ahead of a truck that missed the first three events entirely is not "good", it's not even "ok"... hell if it weren't for the POS Shivvy K3500 she'd have been the ultimate looser by a BIG margin.

That's not even getting into how superior the US I force V8 is to ANYTHING EVER made by GM, V8 or otherwise... stronger design, greater effiancy, more power potential. Cummins and CAT are amazing motor makers, but GM??? They're for lazy people who don't know better. Why do you think you can find one in every junk yard in the US hahahahaha

Hahaha spoken like someone who doesn't know engineering and has never worked on either... Toyota is superior to General Motors when it comes to trucks end of story. Go travel the world and see how many SBCs you find doing HD work in thrird world countries... Toyota makes the toughest trucks and motors along with Mercedes PERIOD.

A Toy V8 is just that... A toy. It has no advantage over a SBC, let alone a LS. It has minimal aftermarket support, more expensive, larger outer dimensions with smaller available CID, and overly complex for such an event. Show me a toy v8 you think can contend, and I'll show you a Bowtie that utterly destroys it. And quit your bitching about the female competing. Her Jeep is the most streetable there and it's completely outgunned. You've been crying about it like a girl since the first video.
