FX Airguns Cracking Heads

This is a video about my FX Crown and FX Impact taking the California Ground Squirrel at various ranges. I tried to make all head shots, hence the nam FX Airguns cracking heads. In the Crown, I am shooting Varmint Knocker XLHP lugs at 1010 FPS and in the Impact, I am shooting NSA 54.5gr HP slugs at 955 FPS. The crown is sporting an MTC Viper PRO FFP 5-30x50 and the Impact is sporting an Element Helix 6-24x50.

Your videos are easily the best in their class. And I watch a disturbing amount of varminting, pcp stuff, and gun stuff. The guns you shoot always make me go back and make sure I see all the exact specs of the projectile. Trying to gauge what one I'm buying next lol. I really like the fact you get straight to the point of the video, but it would be awesome to see quick still shots of the guns you're using in that video. And possibly a super short description of if it's stock or modified. But otherwise keep making them roll all over the floor!!

California ground squirrels aka digger squirrels. They’re cannibalistic. If you shoot one it’ll usually twitch it’s tail as it lays dying and other squirrels will come out of the brush to pounce on it and eat it while it’s still moving.

What do you do with the ground squirrels afterwards? I clean up their skulls and whiten them and they look very nice when I get a vitals shot.

Great Video as always! Appreciate all the time you put into the channel for us to enjoy. On a side note, I sent a prototype LW barrel to West Coast Airgunner aka Big Red aka John. He said you two were friends so I assume that to be correct. Anyway, I finally got ahold of him after a year and he said he was going to ship the barrel back to me, but have been ghosted ever since. If you do know him personally and could relay the message that I am still waiting on the barrel I would appreciate it! Thanks for your time and hope you can help get this issue resolved. It's a 600mm LW barrel custom made for an Impact. He said he was going to test and send back, but he did not honor our deal.

Great video as always. I finally received my Impact M3 .25CAL 700mm. Out of curiosity, I'm shooting NSA slugs at 33.5 grains. I'm trying to hit 970fps, what would you recommend as a baseline setting ?

You will want more than 970FPS for heavier slugs. Is tune it like this. First regulator 200bar Second regulator 165-170 bar Macro Wheel 12 Micro Wheel 3.5 That will give you the adjustability that you need to increase or decrease velocity depending on what weight slug yourself like to run. Hope this helps and congratulations on the new M3.

Consistent ground squirrel headshots at 80 yards and up means you're a man that knows his gun, and know his stuff. 🤘 What settings do you have that .30 tuned to to get 955 fps with 54.5 NSAs?... and you have the Power Wheel on minimum for that?
