FX Dreamline with 20x14 CF tensioned barrel kit.

Hey so you gave me this idea and I purchased a carbon fiber shaft from Amazon and it's perfect. The problem I'm having is my moderator was one of the first to come with a Dreamline. The moderator I have goes big threads that screws into the moderator and then goes big on the other side (male) for the shroud to screw onto but also has a female thread at the end for the barrel to screw onto. I need a device that can screw onto the barrel but then get big enough to screw onto the moderator. I could just chop my sleeve down and use that tip to cover this thing but yours looks so much cleaner.

Ernest; I’m very interested in this CF shroud for a 500 mm Dreamline classic. As standard from FX the barrel moves every time I case the gun. Adding rigidity to the system would be great. Please make this available. I’d even suggest machining a threaded aluminum cap so moderator can be removed and maintain the tension. Thanks.

That is compression, not tension. Tension would be "stretching" the barrel. But your method definitely looks like it helps with rigidity! Great job

Impact. I regret getting the Dreamline because there's very little aftermarket support for it versus the Impact that has all sorts of cool stuff.

Don’t stop there -> Thats when new liner twist rate and new ammo to find accuracy over 1080-1125fps. Agree speed isn’t for everyone but there is time when needed.

I own a dreamline tactical, and it is a big flop. Stupid barrel system. It is honestly useless. You sight it in and whenever you need to fill the cilinder, u can be 90% sure u get it out of zero.
