Ernest Great KZbin. Question: do you have a KZbin showing how to get the hammer assembly out of the M3? Also what are the items we need to look for when removing and reinstalling the hammer assembly. I'm currently having ES issues on my M3 .22 700mm barrel. Thanks for your help.

.in the past we used mos2 powder to get a dry hd lube at metal to metal parts in a springer gun ,rub it in the metal surface ,maybe its a good idea for the hammer system

Earnest, this won't void my warranty in any way will it? Utah was already trying to tell me they'd void my warranty if I converted my 35 to any other caliber without sending them the whole gun. Just looking to keep them off my ass. Thanks and awesome work! If anyone knows, please let me know. Thanks!

ernest, help. My power wheel fine adjustment hex screw at the side of the rifle moves while i shoot. I tune it to maximum (at max at the power wheel) and after a few magazines the hex screw has backed out again it seems. I didnt have good lighting for the chrony but accuracy was all over the place at 100 yards today.... i use the tiny hex wrench to set it to a very high setting and after 2 mags it has backed to a lower setting. I fear i have to use some kind of locking nut in the middle of the slider (in front of the power wheel towards the barrel). Is this a normal issue or is there something wrong with my rifle? I bought it used a few weeks ago... the threads seem fine because it is adjusting while i turn the screw. thanks for any input... stay safe.

Can you link what you use? I can't find it on searches. Thanks
the thread at the end of the rod - where it's threaded - broke off inside the part that hits the valve ball under the adjustment, my c3 bumper was completely missing and I guess it hammered it to death. Do you know where I could get these parts so I can start shooting again? :) FX Impact MK1

i found that ballistol tends to get to thicken en gets greasy sticky ,its has also a barrel cleaning purpose .how will it effect o rings ? i,use instead the accid free gumfree sewing machine oil on small moving parts
@precision_Air4 жыл бұрын
I'm sure you already know this but oil decomposes rubber. Personally I like a light film of silicone. If I'm incorrect, someone let me know.

@@precision_Air if oli contains esters.its tru .car engines depends on rubber seals and oil. No problem there and modern rubbers types are most oil resistent

Won’t it self polish over time to a certain degree , say a 1 year old impact should be fully worn in ??, and then give better stability with the FPS, thanks
@ernestrowe50614 жыл бұрын
Polishing and worn out parts are not the same- you need to inspect !
@ptescreen184 жыл бұрын
Ernest Rowe u didn’t understand, I don’t mean a old impact that isn’t working correctly, I mean a good few month old impact would surly polish itself slightly as parts are used, but yea I do know what u mean polishing and wear is different

I get the polishing the outside of the barrel that ain't gonna do shit for accuracy or consistency ...I guess what I'm asking is ernest is just doing this for nothing or not nothing it looks clean ....but it doesn't make the air gun better or more consistent ... plz I won't to know ... help me out bro
@jeromemorespeeder35034 жыл бұрын
Hi Ernest, i think you are in the end of the end of the optimisation of the hammerspring system. No lube or polish, Es goes up. Polish + Light lube, Es goes down. Too much Lube Es goes up again.. lol but nice and cool work here
@chrisfigueroa33614 жыл бұрын
Explain why
@jeromemorespeeder35034 жыл бұрын
@@chrisfigueroa3361 because it's some details that make small differences.. and after X number of shoot, you will have to do it again (dismount, polish, remount) so globaly it's a improvement but not really reliable.

U buy FX IMAPACT,u spend 10 hours on shooting and 100 hours on tuning and fixing stuff to shoot another 10 hours...max 800 usd for this airgun,despite the good looking nothing about this gun is high end,internals arefar away from being sturdy and solid,and this "pipe" u calling liner is just a thin pressed piece of pipe,nowhere near real cold hammer forged barrel...(btw bought first FX 2002 it was Cyclone,next it was FX revolution and 2007 it was GLADIATOR which was realy good gun,after i had around 6 different models with smooth twist crap barrel,and bought IMPACT M2 with liner crap, today i have M4 tried it and it goes on sell as all the others).Conclusion is today nothing comes even close to older FX airguns they gone down the hill with quality around 2015,pitty everything is commercial these days for FX,their support is dissaster,and being in airgunning since 1984 i can say that today nothing come close to quality and rigidness of Eastern airguns,only exception is Daystate which is category for itself...
