Hi Ernest, great stuff! One thing I found very difficult to do was to get the o-rings back in the right spot, they want to bunch up. I tried the carbon fiber sleeve but it didn't work well for accuracy. I went back to the o-rings and found it to be highly effective for getting the o-rings into place! Works great for that!

Thank you Ernest. I just removed the 500mm sleeve last night....will put a 600mm sleeve on it with slug liner. Lots of guys leave the liner O-rings off but I have always had good results with them on. I appreciate the tips on tightening, use of locktite, etc. Thank you!

@@jennysok I have a 25 caliber barrel kit that I'm using to swap sleeves. As if right now you can't buy a sleeve separately u less you happen to find one from a private party.

I can’t see any oring in the lock Nutt part , and when I did order that Oring and put it in the barrel lock Nutt it just compressed it and pushed it out the end

Hey I looked at the drawing by FX there the 8x1 O-ring is going between stainless and brass not on the end that you are showing. i have the suspicion that my dreamlite is missing that O-ring way to easy Liner push in. And the Liner rings are pushed all the way to the end by shot pressure.

So that's where the thin o-ring came from. I didn't shoot mine out but my last liner change it came out with the barrel o-rings. I guess it's time to pull the whole assembly out of mt Wildcat MKII and get that tiny o-ring back in. So the liner o-rings for the 22 cal are 4.62 X 2.62 right? When I bought both pellet and slug liners they didn't come with o-rings.

Help i had my hunter compact apart cleaning it up. Put it all back together and had a huge poi shift. Probably should of market the position before removing the sleeve. Any advice ? Was thinking spinning the liner in 1/4’s and seeing if it shoots close to where it was ?

Hi How do you remove the stainless adapter from the tube? it feels glued on my M3. I need to remove it as the seal inside it came out with the other 3 o rings :(.

Hey Ernest you skipped right over how to install the o-ring inside the silver sleeve that keeps the barrel liner centered!

It's easy to install....fits right into a groove. Installation is similar to the breech oring.

The 8x1 o ring that you don't have a tool for. How and where exactly does it go in? My impact is missing that o ring and I'm trying to figure out how to put it in. Mine is a .25 so its a 9x1

@@jp8351 unscrew the shroud by grabbing it with your hands and spin it off.. use a crescent wrench or box end wrench to unscrew the threaded part in the end of the barrel. Then remove the Allen headed set screw at the back of the barrel where is slides into the block. Then pull on the barrel and it will slide out. Then you will have to unscrew the barrel sleeve from the barrel inlet/brass fitting.

Stainless part feels glued. Did you have to use a lot of heat to undo the stainless part? Or am I wrong on the glue part?

got the stainless part and the tube undone. Used a micro welding torch (dremel versatip) went super fast and easy :). also found a easy way to clamp that part in a vise without scratching it, I use some aluminum foil wrapped fairly thick around the stainless/brass part. zero scratched :)

I screwed the nut that holds the liner in place "not tight" and now it is at the end inside of my moderator and i can't get it out.... So i can't tighten the liner properly. How do i get the endcap off of the shroud so i can take the nut off with it?

What is the torque specification for the jam nut?

There is no torque spec that I know if. Make it snug but not tight. I normally do it hand-tight and then another 1/8th turn with a wrench.
