Well done, as usual- Thanks for sharing. It is unfortunate that FX refuses to fill orders in USA for the Impact M3 power block, 800mm tensioned barrel kit, and tungsten hammer. Dealers cannot get updates from FX. It pretty much turned into vaporware that went only to select individuals. As of today October 25 2022 no one has any word from FX if orders will be filled for these parts, ever.

I ended up getting my first FX rifle it is the Maverick in 22 caliber with the slug power kit and I'm loving having bigger magazine's compared to my other airguns still playing with the different types of ammo to find the sweet spot 😁 and I've got a ton of sparrows in my backyard to test on. I've had one of those rails since not long after they came out. They should be standard equipment on an Impact. My 30 already shot extremely well, but the rail tightened things up even more, and with a much wider array of projectiles. I have been using the 49 gr Zan slugs in my 30 for a while now too. They are almost as accurate as the Hybrids which shoot unreal in this gun at 75 yards (talking 5 into a nickel or less at that range from just bi-pod and sitting in a chair), but unlike the Hybrids that DO NOT expand at all, the Zan slugs do, even on small birds at 75-85 yards. I have a large assortment of Hybrids taken from large small game like chucks and raccoons etc and at best, the nose bends over sideways and limits penetration. The Zan's are it for me now. Pushing the 49's at 939 fps across the Lab Radar from a 130 bar reg on my MK II/700

Made me want to go out and play with my Gen 1 Impact .25. Been Grouse hunting with a Gamo Coyote.22/ Hades as its legal here, and my best shooting .22. Having a good small game season. Also keeping the Local Red Squirrel population under control. Had a Coyote in the yard yesterday. So I mounted up my NV100 to my R5M .25 for a little nighttime action. Thanks for the video. I understand what it’s like to be busy. Things are starting to slow down a bit for me.

Awesome video guys. Remember Kieth talking about spin drift in previous videos and how Strelok under estimates it. How much spin drift do you typically get at 210 yards? Is it dialed in the scope and you just hold for wind? Thanks!!
@68Whiskey2 жыл бұрын
Roughly 1 moa with this set up. We dont dial it, we just hold extra or less because the wind negates some of it

How would you say the nexus compares to the valdada scope? I know there's a price difference but is either one clearer, tracks better etc
@68Whiskey2 жыл бұрын
I think the clarity on both is the same. But the color resolution on the valdada is a bit crisper. Like blue is more blue for example. I dont think thats worth a grand personally but for some im sure it is. Both track the same as far as we know. The nexus has never let me down and i assume norms valdada will be solid as well.

Good afternoon Keith. Wanted to ask your opinion on which liner you recommend for .25? Could you use the FX Superior Heavy liner even though it’s designed for slugs with good results or would you just stick with the STX liner for pellets? Trying to decide what to do. Mostly interested in setting this up for bench rest. Thanks for your help. Keith Rush
@68Whiskey Жыл бұрын
I find that the heavy liner shoots pellets quite well for normal applications like hunting. But for benchrest where every mm matters i would use a regular superior liner or even the original smooth twist. They shoot pellets just a little bit better
