Nice tutorial , the problem I have is that I am unable to get a reading on the 1st regulator , both of them are new . The 2nd reg adjusts on the gauge but nothing on the 1st ....its very frustrating as I had to purchase a new bottle adaptor and bottle valve as unscrewing it so many times to adjust it ruined the threads no matter how careful I was ....soo frustrating

Thanks for an excellent explanation on this topic: clear and to the point and importantly the pressure gauge being visible whilst tunning. I have a question I want to bring my second regulator up to the 140 - 150 does this mean my first reg must be set to the 180-190 range? Won't I damage my air rifle at this pressure?

Hi i bought a wildcat mk3 bt. So i hear it has 2 regulators. In the shop they said it only has 1. I also don't find the hole to adjust that first regulator. Now i'm confused. Has it one, has it 2 regulators? If it has 2 where is the adjuster for the first regulator. Only way i see now is i have to remove the stock, but i wait for an answer before i do that.

Hey there Davy, the Wildcat MK3 BT has always had two regulators. Chronologically, the Wildcat MK3 (no bottle) has only one regulator. The Maverick is an "upgraded" version of that rifle and is fitted with two regulators. Then they put that upgraded system back in to the Wildcat stock, resulting in the Wildcat MK3 BT (Bottle). The angled bottle adapter actually comes from the FX Dreamline series. Because those rifles have the regulator as part of the tube/cylinder, this adapter is fitted with a regulator. It is quite easy to remove the stock to check the regulator. And it's a nice opportunity to clean the rifle below the stock-line 😉. -Dirk

My brand new Fx Maverick come out of the box with the 2nd regulator adjusting valve came out of the box inaccessible fro me with a 1.5 mm Allen wrench sent it back to pyramidair they wouldn’t readjust the 2nd plentim they charged me to route out part of the frame so it was accessible with the 1.5 mm Allen wrench should have been a factory warranty issue! Don’t buy from pyramidair to flacky company! Allen main manager won’t buy my impact from them forsure! There loss!
