they are not "canceling" the show. they are ending it. massive difference between the two. they are ending it because the creator says that the story of all the characters has reached completion and its time to end the show.

FX belongs to Disney which is why it is available on Disney-owned platforms (Hulu, Disney+) though it is licensed for select platforms using extra subscriptions (Prime Video with an extra channel subscription) It is about licensing, not about content
