I can’t recommend the mkh50 enough. I’m using it for day in the life capture for my job and in cases where I didn’t have time to get the lav mic on my subject there’s almost a negligible difference in the audio quality (slightly more background sound, but still very directional)

Thank you! It’s the Sennheiser AVX wireless kit which I’ve been using daily for my job. Combo with the Sanken cos11d is the absolute best option for ultra fast turnaround content

@@DubYaJsWorld I hear you. If we had shutter angle and focus compensation I would be all set! there is always something, I am tied to Sony because of all the glass I have and other than the shutter angle I am very happy with that camera, especially with the low light performance, its incredible!

@@akcine yeah I absolutely love the look coming out of the fx3. I friend of mine got it and his video quality is noticably different in a high quality way. Panasonic is the only other big player that throws everything at their cameras like Sony. I'm just happy to be able to get some sigma glass with a native mount. That's where canon lost me.

@@DubYaJsWorld Definitely. I love Leica glass and I know Panasonic has some leica/panasonic glass which is beautiful. I use an adapter for my FX3

Friend tell me there is no moiré filter on s52x, is it too noticeable when shooting in Raw video on an external recorder? And is it hard to remove moire in davinci on video? And you bought an s52x, did the video become clearer when shooting in proress?

I don’t have confidence to use cineEI quick. Wouldn’t it be better to use ConeEI and actually see what you’re recording on the screen?

The way I shoot w/ the cine ei quick I basically just shoot at 800/12800 so I can see what I’m shooting. Occasionally I’ll bump it up on the in camera preview to see if I can squeeze out a little extra exposure. While it’s a different system entirely, I learned from shooting with my S1H that shooting at the base iso as much as possible will allow for a better recover in post most times rather than trying to pump the gain in camera (like if you shoot at 8000 on the fx3/a7siii it looks like trash) I’ve carried that over to shooting on the FX3 and so far it’s been the best approach to getting good images out of it

I do! I still prefer the image from the S1H over the FX3. Work has been a little crazy, but I’m going to get my YT setup dialed back in and hopefully can start posting again soon. I’m planning on using my S1H for the channel going forward.

The million dollar question! I wholeheartedly love the image out of the S1H way better than the Fx3, the image stabilization is better. However, the culmination of the overall features of the FX3 make it the obvious choice for events & ultra fast work (like my day job creating Gary Vee style content). while I hate the cop out of “right camera for the right job” I’m less looking for a one camera to do it all and more of a specific camera for a job. I’ve been using 2 FX3’s daily for the past 3 months, I still hate the image, but there’s nothing faster on the market and seconds are precious with the speed we’re moving. Media is a part of the overall speed of the camera and having CFexpress type A cards are crucial with the turnaround times we’re aiming to hit getting clips out the door. desert island camera: S1H (dream camera is Alexa mini LF, but that’s a 5yr goal camera) I’m working on getting my YT studio built back up to start making more videos again, I’d love to chat more about this topic, I’ve changed cameras a lot and love the flexibility of being able to grab a camera and tell a story.

@@brandongoodyear2468 Thank you, I've been debating on adding either the FX30 or the new Lumix S5IIX to my church's Budget. Still confused, we currently use the a6400s with kit lenses for livestream, we are small church but I really want to improve the video quality.
