Dig a hole in the front of the battery compartment and move the battery forward. There’s a hollow section up front under the cockpit. the battery can slide into it nicely.

nicest flying vid ive seen of this plane! does this work with multi protocol?
@lewiemotorsports36162 ай бұрын
@FoolSendRC I'm still trying to figure that out, when I do I'll def make a video. Other viewers have asked about it, hopefully it's like the v2 j20 from FX (fx9630) and can be bound right to a jumper or tx16
@FoolSendRC2 ай бұрын
@@lewiemotorsports3616 saw another comment below, seems like fx9630 it is. will be getting one soon. start by flying it stock with my boxer, then try 3s next. if it doesn't die then perhaps Rx swap and add rudder function
@lewiemotorsports36162 ай бұрын
@FoolSendRC you would be the first to do so, there isn't a mass produced j20 or j35 rc plane with rudders retracts etc. All I've ever seen is scratch built.
@patrickhicks44262 ай бұрын
What I did with mines glued a nickel in front of the front landing gear has it flying flat level also it has the same frequency as the 9630 if you already have that in your control should bind right up
@lewiemotorsports36162 ай бұрын
@patrickhicks4426 that's good to know, I think I used the nickle weight on my qf009 su35 and that flew amazing

Great video! How do you feel about the speed of this bird? Also, what are your thoughts when compared to the QF009?
@lewiemotorsports36162 ай бұрын
@@TheFlyinTek thank you for watching! I’m honestly impressed with the speed of this thing especially with that added nose weight. I have yet to fly it in any real wind but I think it has the power to do so! I think the v2 qf su35 might be faster, but it’s hard to say. It’s definitely faster than the v1 brushed qf009

@@lewiemotorsports3616 thanks for the support! Question, after a few flights, what tips/tricks would you recommend? Also did you get a multi protocol Tx connected to it?
@lewiemotorsports36162 ай бұрын
@@TheFlyinTek I haven’t gotten around to binding it on a different radio yet, but as far as tips I’d add either a nickle or screws to the nose/underneath the nose cone, and keep a timer of 4 mins maybe 4.30 on a 650 to 750 mah battery. The rtf remote beeps after every min so after the 4th beep it’s time to land!

What OPEN TX protocol is this bird on - did you figure it out? Let us all know!! Thanks!! Want to fly on Jumper T Lite. Also, so as not to waste the added weight to the nose, cut he nose off with a razor, clean and flat, glue magnets to either side, and use a thing fish string inbetween -- if you crash, now you have a magentic nose release and the fish string ensures it won't go far and get lose when you crash or hard nose land... i do this with most of my micro jets. OR, looks like there is room to move the battery forward -- that would be ideal if you can do that as then you don't have to add any weight at alll!
@lewiemotorsports36162 ай бұрын
@@Idontdohandles I have not figured it out yet, to sync my j20 I downloaded a multi protocol from GitHub then updated my radiomaster. Then I unplugged the battery 3 times and got the j20 to go into bind mode, and it bound right up however there was no way to turn the gyro all the way off or change the rates. I think gitHub will have similar protocols for down load, but any radiomaster zoro or tx16s or jumper t8 and above with latest firmware should have an easier time. I know the first j20 depending where you got it from was frsky
