Thanks, Tom! Reminder about the stat that immediately after inauguration (Jan 21st), SPX tends to start going down. It doesn't look like this will happen, though. NVDA: in the 1s chart I see the big guys finally returned, but perhaps only half of them. These are the ones that buy $10-60 million worth of shares within a second. One $60 million buy of NVDA didn't happen at the lows, and helped the price's trend jump. There were also plenty of others who do dozens of $1 million buys at a specific price (looks like a buy-wall). When I saw such walls on TSLA a month ago at 440, the price went vertical to 480. I rarely see such walls. Still, I saw only half the big guys buying NVDA, so I'll remain cautious.

TSM was a Zacks rating 2 (Buy) a couple months ago. Around mid-December, it was downgraded to rating 3 (Hold). Just today, I noticed it's now a Zacks Rating 4 (Sell). I bailed on TSM as Zacks specifically tracks a company's ability to surprise on earnings calls. TSM has surprised something like 14 of the last 17 earnings calls, but two downgrades in about a month and change made me VERY leery. If TSM shines, we continue a nice rally in SMH. If it falters, I save myself a gruesome red candle, but probably pay for it in NVDA, AVGO and MRVL. Strange way of hedging, but there it is...

Anyway, it's just narrative; I don't remember bull market without dash to trash and peak euphoria, we're not even close so let's run higher this year. I think it was like, 1,032,888 @ 86.63 on tlt that hit my radar. Yesterday there were some shorts being closed, certainly not all and likely some more opened with oil putting in an 80 print. I didn’t buy KRE yet, but I did start buying XHB and BLDR 160-180 calls from last Friday TP on half of both and half of the 115 puts on the May expiry. Capital efficiency in execution is something I’ve lagged in and this year I’m aiming to be more capital efficient with predefined TP levels.

Really don't understand how one can be bullish EURUSD? I mean, energy prices are up 50% from 2024 in Europe, inflation will start picking up again and ECB does not have a bazooka to support the economy. In fact, they cannot do anything as the EURO will be dumped if they cut rates while inflation will start picking up. This market seems very strange. All the macro economics show a stagflation environment, yet stock markets are up like happy times.
