I almost bought those exact bars and I'm only 5'7", instead I went with LA choppers hammerheads and I'm still hoping I don't run into the same problem. They haven't shipped yet but I like the width alot and the pullback is 5". Lol if I don't like them, I'll be in the same spot your in right now. Thanks for the video! Nice bike, I'll sub show more.

I swapped them for the KST Pathfinders and I cannot recommend those enough, so if you need a suggestion…anything from KST Vanguard collection is phenomenal.

My factory 47s were a nightmare with the clutch cable it is not long enough and doesnt bend for shit Had to get the fbi clutch extension and had to dremel out the plastic underneath the speedo to fit the clutch cable inbetween the plastic and bars so it wasnt pinched.. only then it fit As for the shape i cable tied it to the bottom of the bars and kinda took shape over time Im hoping when i order 14” motowich bars for my next bike i dont need the extension as its narrower in width and diameter so hopefully that helps with the dremel situation as well.. if i didnt do that the speedo nacelle would not press down all the way and hit the bars, also kepped popping off the ignition trim Alot of swearing and trimming/cutting plastic to get 1.5”thick bars to fit Also had to leave the cable out of the frame clip as it kept popping out anyway, just cable tied it to the fairing and frame tucked in otherwise on full lock the forks will hit it and press it into the factory cable holder.. absolutely dredding having to do this job all over again hahah

Are you trying to sell those bars? I’m 6 foot and looking for a set of t-bar type of bars to ride the twisties. I do ride some long rides and didn’t want to buy a new set just in case they where to uncomfortable 😣

I did not, I just ran fishing line through and staggered the connectors, taped the snot out of them and that worked for me to pull them through.

I have the exact same issues with my Fxr bars. Left wrist hurts and it’s a stretch

Lol mine was my right wrist. Thought maybe they weren’t perfectly centered in the bar clamp but they were. I will say you can turn on a dime with the Motorwitch bars.

Did u sell them? 😃 am 5’11” … do u think they are good enough? I dont like very wide bars. I don’t know what bars to go with! I saw the 2” thick ironhold but they are expensive

I did sell them. I can’t praise my 14” KST Pathfinders enough, I’d recommend those to anyone and if you want them wide you can turn them out, if you want them more narrow you can turn them inwards.

@@mrkillijiggles5351 Issue I'm having with the Pathfinder 12" bar is, the left side became very loose, despite torquing them. Not exactly confidence inspiring, I'm now looking at buying the FXR LOL. Did you have any issue with them loosing up?

I did not have issues with the FXRs but the only place they could loosen is at the bar clamp. I actually loooove my 14” pathfinders a lot more than the FXRs

Yes because when you roll them back towards yourself in the clamp that’s 2 more inches that they’ll be closer to you. If you want my honest opinion, I cannot recommend KST bars from their vanguard collection enough, maybe give them a look

Maybe you have longer arms than me, you might be ok since everyone is built a little different. If you don’t like them then I highly highly recommend trying them in 14” or any of the KST Vanguard bars in 14”

Yeah it’s because you can roll them back but if you get the KSTs you can just turn them inward more without rolling them back a lot unlike with the Motorwitchs. I needed comfort for my back and shoulders, not just looks because I go for long rides and the 12” Motorwitch bars got old fast
