I remember a few years back, maybe 2018 or so the old farts fishing under the bridge in town where having a tizzy fit from us coasting through the water way but they were the ones fishing in the middle where ALL boats travel.

There were guys fishing around there but I'm not aware of any issues with any of them this year.

Idea for keeping the seat buns in place. make a strap from some of your leftover upholstery and attach it to the buns, then put a snap on the seat base. My Voyager has those on the lounger, that's the only way they stay in place at speed.

That's on the list for the upholstery shop. Still waiting for them to get the new stuff done.

Somebody told me about this 7 years ago, and I forgot what it was called. I'd like to go next year. How fast does one need to go in order to hang with the pack? I have a Checkmate Pulse 186 with an XRI175 that does 60 on a good day.

That boat would be plenty to stay with the pack. It’s not necessarily an all out speed run the whole time. You kinda run from one spot to the next, stop and hang out a bit. Guys will make some passes and whatnot. Join the FYNBAHR group on Facebook. The details and dates get posted there.

Sorry for the late reply. I believe it's a Hydrostream Voyager YT.

You know when you are about to go full balls out when you put a helmet on in a boat! That had to be near 95?

I was pretty loaded down with fuel and gear on this trip. Air temps where in the 30's at the start of the day. I was running probably low to mid 80's. The best I've run is 94.7.
