They are really impressive for the money. Most Fyne dealers should have them on demonstration now, or very shortly.

Unfortunately, the lack of finishing options automatically disqualifies it from my consideration. I really think they'd do well to offer an alternative in white and white with light oak.

Will black be the only option, and how will these mesh with a home cinema system that otherwise uses F300 (non i) series speakers?

For this F500E series black ash is the only finish, but there is a range above this, F500S, which will be coming next year, and will come in walnut, black oak and piano black. The F500E range should mesh OK with previous Fyne speakers.
