Dog-gon! This stuff really works! I made some about 2 years ago, but haven't been sick since I made it & some elderberry syrup. I keep the syrup in the fridge. I started feeling a cold coming on after being around grandchildren over the weekend. I pulled the fire cider & syrup out, diluted with a little water, held my breath & gulped it down. I don't know how long before I could feel a difference, but I know 2 hrs later I realized my sore throat & runny nose were better. I figured the cider would still be good but expected the syrup to possibly be wine. But it looked, smelled & tasted exactly how it should. I had hoped it would help but honestly didn't have much confidence in it. By golly. my symptoms went away for several hours. It's made a believer out of me! You do need to keep taking it 3-4 times a day. But it works without making me tired or affecting my blood pressure. I'm sold!!!

I never thought of it as medicine, but I make something sort of like that, it's never the same recipe twice, (old Patròn bottles are nice) and use it with oil and maybe some straight balsamic vinegar as cut if too strong, for salad dressing. I had always thought of it just as flavored vinegar, but now I'll call it medicine !

As an one-time apprentice herbalist ( I worked with an herbalist, gathering, processing, etc., so I could learn from an expert), I can see why this concoction would quickly boost immunity. And so quick to make and especially use! And, I'm embarrassed to admit, I have Rosemary's herbal on my shelf and have never used it. Good video and good kick in the pants.

I was wondering if you blend it all together after 6 weeks… don’t want to waste any of it! 😊
@DragonflyenAmber3 жыл бұрын
@@lilyavery8230 It's all in the same jar as it processes, you chop the stuff, stick it in the jar, pour on the vinegar and leave it for a few weeks. Then you strain into another jar and use it.
@lilyavery82303 жыл бұрын
@@DragonflyenAmber thank you for the reply… I made a jar in early December and nearing the 6 week mark at the end of this month… can I then blend the jar or just strain and dump the veggies for compost…seems like it would benefit to keep everything together and blend at the end…or at least that’s my process to not waste anything…
@DragonflyenAmber3 жыл бұрын
@@lilyavery8230 What do you mean by blend? All the ingredients are in the same jar correct? (blended in together) When I say I put them in the blender I'm saying that I put them in to be chopped small before putting them into the jar of vinegar. After using them yes, I put the veggie bits into the compost bin

Also, I meant to mention on your last video to look into the supplement NEEM. It’s good for so many things, hair and skin, parasites, cleans the blood, and it also helps periodontal issues. Thanks so much for making this video. I am trying to grow ginger and turmeric indoors this time as they did not like being moved outdoors in summer in my area.
