Girlfriend and I were part of the Saturday people… We were absolutely crushed. They should’ve announced the winds at least 12-48 hours before and that it would be monitored… I’m sure folks would’ve appreciated that as a small warning. And since tickets already sold out for next year, we’re basically screwed there too. Appreciated all the bands that tried to do free shows but it was impossible for us to make those seeing lines were already 3-4 blocks long. We were too depressed to even make anything else out of trip. Granted we’re only from SoCal… But yeah it was not fun. Thanks for this video. At least we can live vicariously a bit. Love you guys.

As an American viewer we certainly appreciate the generosity but those tips are insane. $1 to $2 per drink is standard. The 15-20% is just for sit down restaurants.

Also those prices generally are sickening, I know festivals are expensive but what the hell? I haven’t been to a US one so didn’t even occur to me the tipping culture still applied - usually in UK festivals the people working at the bar are volunteers so work for free in exchange for a free ticket & nicer camping area etc… Obviously not the best deal but they clearly get people who are willing to do it, the idea that 4 drinks would set you back $100/~£90 is baffling… that’s as expensive as the super clubs in Ibiza & nobody is queuing for those bars, they just drink at the cheaper places beforehand

You are best pregaming in your hotel and then sticking with downtown if you want to save $. To be fair all concerts/fests are expensive these days but this is definitely a Vegas premium rate issue.

I’m just grateful to have gotten through the gate when thousands of others didn’t. Coming here made me realize I can’t physically handle festivals anymore, I was barely holding on by the time Avril went on, and we still had like 3 more hours to go 😂😂 experience of a lifetime, and if I never go to another festival again, I will die happy knowing this was my last.

It's nice to see a bigger perspective. We We're crushed about Saturday, truly crushed. I was the only one who could afford to swing Sundays show from our group. I had to do it. From waiting in a pointless 1.5 plus hour line wrapped around the entire block just to realize i could have just walked up and walked in. Then waiting an hour for food here, an hour for a drink there, an hour to get into the pit, 30 minutes to take a piss. It was soooo much waaaaaiiiittting! In my opinion the festival was desperately under equipped to handle the crowds. I couldn't even buy a damn shirt. But all that said, I finally got to see My Chem. I waited for 3 hrs to have the best spot in the pit and it was awesome. Seriously they made it worth it forsure.
