Holy shit this piece is simply amazing, this composer managed to fuse romantic and modern language in such a unique way. So similar to Shostakovich and Prokofiev yet has his own majestic russian sound. I'm OBSESSED and I have to know more about him, thank you for posting I literally can't stop listening to this piece, probably the best counterpoint I've ever heard in my life, I genuinely have no idea how this piece isn't famous

There's a dope ass quote of one of Prokofiev's piano sonatas at 1:29. Does anyone know which one this is? It sounds kinda like part of his Sonata No 2 but not quite. EDit: I just remembered. It's the Prokofiev Piano Sonata No 2, Mov II Scherzo
