I needed these instructions! Thanks. I would like to know if we can use thinner to clean the filter or any other thing if we feel petrol is not cleaning it properly. Also, if thinner will damage the 'fabric layer between the filter itself?

I have Apache RTR 160 fi 2009 model. After all the troubleshooting over last few months, we could shortlist the issue with the fuel pump itself, most probably clogged filter. Thinner was suggested.

Disassemble a carburettor only when its absolutely necessary. The more you open a carb the worse it gets.

Dost ye batao ki kitne kilometers ke bad hamko fuel pump ko clean karvana chahiye aur iske fuel pump ka filter mil jate hai kya ye dono chize batao ..kyunki meri bike ko 3 saal ho gaye hai aur ab ye missing karne lagi hai aur chalti chalti band ho jati hai apne aap jabki mai sari services time se karvata hu

Aisa koi time table nehi hai, jav problem hoga tav cleaning karwana hota hai, filter market me mil jata hai. Missing k liye pehle injector ko clean karwao, uske bad fuel pump filter clean karwana.

Outer layer is strainer filter is inside the net,

Bro i followed each and every step carefully and completed succesfully the fuel pump is perfectly pushing the petrol to the injector , But i am unable to start my fz all the relays are functioning properly and i am unable to start the bike . @sandeep sai check all the wiring connectors again, i think you have not plugged in all the wiring connectors. Check if its making spark or not? And spraying through injector or not?

@@EzMeck Hii bro after a long await with full of patience finally i got my bike started Just simply unplug the ECU unit and turn the ignition on and try to self start once or twice , then turn off ignition and plug the ECU and start the engine . V2 আর v3 তে কি same টাইপ এর ফুয়েল পাম্প আছে? কারণ আমার fzs v3 আছে। In genaral কতো km এর পর পর clean করতে হয়? তোমারটা কত km এর পর ক্লিন করলে? তবে v3 এর সিঙ্গেল coupler কানেক্টর নেই। 2টো আলাদা আলাদা connector coupler আছে

There is no such interval, clean only when its absolutely necessary, in this case the flow of pump is reduced, power loss was there, hence we cleaned it, odo reading 49k kms.

Agar pump kharab ho gaya hai to yamaha ki original pump assembly ki cost 4-5hajar k karib hai, pump ki mainly motor hi kharab hota hai, ap sirf motor change kar sakte hai, local mil jata hai, online v available hai, 2000 ki karib price hai.
