Change from PAL to NTSC 25P/50P/100FPS to 30P/60P/120FPS, worked for me

Hi Suzette, thanks for your video. I had a lot of stabilization issues when shooting videos while walking around. What gimbal woud you recommend for the FZ1000? Also, M mode might be a bit complicated for me at this stage so will P mode do in daylight? And what settings should I use for up-close indoor concerts in small venues at night? Is 4K worth the storage and editing penalties for daytime and nighttime videos or should I stick to FHD? Would greatly appreciate your response.

Ive read you can shoot 1080 at 120p? but i cant find the setting anywhere. Do you know if this is correct and if so how can I access this? thanks

Hi, Suzette. I follow 90+% of your instructions. Ex. of trouble. Took me quite a while to change Record Format to MP4 until I realized I first had to change 4K Photo to "Off" to 'light up' RecFormat. You didn't tell us that--but I put my desktop to full screen and read the menu page of 'your' LCD screen. You said "Now that's a large file" when we chose REC QUALITY to 4K: 100/24. This leads to my question: AM I SACRIFICING A LOT OF END PRODUCT (BLU RAY DVR TO PLAYBACK ON HD TV VS RECORDING AT 4k: 100/30 ??? WOULD I BE JUST AS SATISFIED RECORDING IN ONE OF THE FHD QUALITIES: 28M/60P, 20M/30P ???? (I can practice on an E. Caribbean cruise 3/31-4/7 in preparation for 11/2019 trip to Quito and Galapagos.) I do have essential tremors so I rely a lot on tripod / monopod along with a wireless shutter release. Any help TO DO, DO NOT DO will be appreciated more than I can say.

HI Suzette, great video thank you. How effective is the camera for filming at night? I have this camera and I've never used the video feature! I am going to Norway next February to hopefully see the Northern Lights and I am wondering if this camera will be capable of capturing decent enough video of them.

Hey, Kcross43-- sounds like an amazing trip! My recommendation would not be to use this camera for the northern lights. The lens is not fast enough nor the sensor big enough and you would be unhappy with the video. I would definitely look into a camera that has a wider lens, and at least f1.8 and at least micro4/3 sensor size but full frame would be better! I hope that is helpful! I don't know what I've done, everything's gone black and white, filming and photos. I where seeing what different buttons do, and now in black and white. How do I get it back to normal?

I just got this camera on Tuesday. When I play back videos I have recorded, I only get video, no audio. What am I doing wrong?

Are you playing back on the camera? If so, be sure to turn the volume up by turning the thumb wheel. Also no audio on High Speed video. Hope that helps and thank you for watching

Rec Format than choose MP4, I was just having that issue and I solved it by doing that. MP4 = 4K

4k is 4x bigger than FHD? :D No... isn´t. It is 2x bigger (you able to 2x zoom without losing quality).
