G-Bomb longboard pump deck vs custom top mount pump deck #1

I have had this gbomb - dont trip - 85mm Orangatang setup for a while and it pumps great.. super stiff and might need to be stiff for a good pumper.. I am about to take those components off and put them on a custom top mount to make a more comfy ride and find out if I can get it to pump as well as the gbomb..

Top mounts inherently are easier to pump due to so much increased leverage. I love my gbomb dds/ttx with a rocket exodus platform. Really nice snappy flex for pumping. I do find that it pumps with less lean then my topmounts. I have exiles on 1 top mount that pump great and a DT Bhanger/poppy combo on another top mount. All great pumpers. They also paddle really well as you add power with a squat and release working the flex to move you forwards.

Right on! I love my waterborne adapters for pumping (they lean over more than carvers), especially with the springy Scorpio carbon fiber board and especially with my carbon fiber Braap attack, but I’ve never tried a board with those rear extenders.

I'll be interested to see how this turns out. I have been running my extra BRAAP board on Paris trucks as nice cruiser, but it would be cool to change it to a pump board.

pump boards are great.. when I feel like bein a little crazy and get away from my 200mm setup..

Noice.. not sure pros and cons to length.. I like enough deck to have plenty of room for my feet..
