G. Ceará Challenge - Super Monaco GP (Sega Genesis/Mega Drive)

Super Monaco GP is a Formula One racing simulation video game released by Sega in 1989. It is the sequel to the 1979 arcade game Monaco GP. The arcade game consists of one race, the Monaco Grand Prix, but later ports added more courses and game modes based on the 1989 Formula One World Championship.
Winning the first season of the World Championship, you are Madonna's new driver (if not already there) strongest team on the grid. Starting the new season, you will be challenged by G. Ceará (Ayrton Senna), the new pilot of the weak Bullets team seems to be an opponent impossible to beat, is that true?

I very done it once without any cheats and I passed him on the 4th before all lapped çars get in the way helping him out

The secret to beat G. Ceará (Ayrton Senna) is to make the most aggressive curves possible, touching the curb (don't walk over it, you lose speed), gradually you get to G. Ceará, when you get there don't try to hit it, no it will work, just pass that after that he will lose his super strength and go back to being a normal Bullets

O segredo para vencer G. Ceará (Ayrton Senna) é fazer as curvas mais agressivas possíveis, tocando a zebra (não passeie por cima, perde velocidade), gradualmente vai chegando no G. Ceará, ao chegar nele não tente bater, não vai dar certo, só passe que após isso ele perderá a super força e voltará a ser um Bullets normal

i like how he just goes "aw, fuck it, ain't worth the trouble" as soon as you pass him. plus, regardless of what happens on the next round, on the third one he goes right back to being a backmarker, so winning only once makes your life a hell of a lot easier. i just find it weird that it seems to be easier to beat him in San Marino, which has a lot of bends, than Brazil with its humongously long straightaways.

@@Jarend3 Yeah, hitting him makes him spin, but he recovers faster than other cars and you lose a lot of speed when you hit him, the system is designed so you can't overtake him that way. Well, at least I never picked it up or saw anyone walk past it knocking.

Excelente juego. En mi opinión Ayrton Senna gp2 . Supera a esta versión o simplemente lo tonifica. Para explotar al máximo la velocidad de sega. Una gran mejora aparte de la velocidad y escenarios. En Germany en está versión es sólo floresta y en el Ayrton Senna floresta más estadios. Un gran juego y en mi opinión Ayrton Senna es superior

Why does G.Ceara only ever use the left lane? I've always wondered this, it's strange because none of the other racers do that.

because he is defending the inside in the hairpin, so you can't dive bomb

​@@pato17riothat makes sense for the hairpin, but why does he do the same thing on other parts of the track where it would actually slow him down and make handling the car more difficult? On some parts he would maintain more speed if he utilized both lanes, but instead he sticks strictly to the left which would mean harder breaking and more aggressive turns, logically you'd think it would make the race more difficult for him.

Actually, the other racers do the same, they are only placed in one lane. They stick to the one they started the race at.
