While GCode is an amazing holster and I am not knocking it at all, it is absolutely kydex. Its kydex which is precision formed. Once again, Jesse makes amazing gear and that holster is absolutely duty worthy.

Thanks for showing that molle setup. I just got my Veritas plate carrier with AR500 level IV ceramic plates in multicam. I would set mine up that way for SHTF. I’ll be getting one for my HK USP 45 grey frame.

Only problem I have with kydex is when I left 2 kydex holsters totalling about 210$+ in a gear bag in my car in the summer in Florida they lost their shape slightly, enough to no matter how hard I cranked down on the retention screws they would just flop around in the holster. Injection molded plastic for me now,or2 Safari seven

Philip Mabbott the multicam one is for my XD40. The Glock 19 fits in it nicely though. The coyote one is built for the Glock 19.

Philip Mabbott I have one of these holsters for my glock 19. It will run the 17 as well. And the nice thing is if you decide to thread your barrel and get suppressor sights it will still fit the gun.

A lot of these holsters that are coming out is nothing new or original to some capacity. The Safari ALS 6390 (pick your number) level two is still much more conducive while wearing on duty. These newer ones are too obvious for an offender to approach you and remove your weapon. Common sense will dictate to comprehend in how place your hand and thumb to remove your weapon. The Safari ALS even for a level one is not as distinctive compared to other brand models. Though they do work and it does the job, but why give the offender the opportunity to easily figure out. The idea for these new system concerning holsters is to not make it readily accessible in the removal of a weapon. Again, the level one Safari SLS is not noticable on the fly for a subject to attempt an easy removal from the holster. The Black Hawk Level 3 too, a good holster too, but the lever to flip the hood is too noticable. Granted it still takes the index figer to release the weapon and for the most part many people won't know or understand its functionality; however, once its understood then it becomes too easy for removal. These new designs are not original at all in my opinion and personally I still favor the Safari ALS/SLS for its simplicity even with the accessory part where the ALS guard is without the hood--that too still provides a smooth and natural thumb forward motion to release the level 2 and then sliding the thumb back to release the level 1 retention. And the best part about this accessory is that it is not noticable nor distinctive compared to other locking systems. It's like making the bullseys big enough for someone to hit its mark whild a smaller bullseye makes it much more difficult and provide the same result but with more precision and effectivness. Ultimately as long you have a level one retention holster you will always have a level 2. You as the officer is the level one first in weapons retention then the fight is on. So if you never had a weapons retention class, do it. Do not rely on tactical thigh holster as secured in a scuffled. You will not control your weapon situation as you would when it is on your side. Just turning your body where the waist and weapon can naturallly move away can thwart the offender off along with your hand in a ready pistol position. Even if the person has his hand(s) on the butt of the weapon can be thrown off and you as the officer must engage further by relying on your execution of techniques to have the subject off you weapon. Sooner or later when you are on the job long enough it will happen. So don't always rely on your tools of the business concerning its level of protection, new systems, weapon jam, etc., because when your caught off guard all you will have left is your life on the line. Protect yourself, watch your 6 and stay safe. These are only my opinions and I could be wrong.

stop, just stop. there are no special forces nor military period that uses that holster. it did almost win a contract for 225,000 holsters at over 40 million dollars but was ultimately beat out by the blackhawk serpa for the army as well as the marines. I'm sure it's a great holster but seriously stop the lies.

You must have missed the fact that Marine MARSOC awarded the contract for the holster system to be used with the G19 that they just adopted to GCode. Not to mention the fact that the Marines are allowed to buy there own holsters and most chunk the serpa for a much better holster like this one so yes there are special forces personnel that use this holster...

dude you are funny, I love how upset you get about this. As of a few months ago all but one special operations units in the US military now either issue or give you the option to use the G19. On top of that MARSOC issues the G Code holster with the G19 and they ARE special operations so yeah at least goggle this shit before you start an argument.
