My favorite arcade shooter, and I love how that whale just comes out of nowhere at 1:35. Every final level foreshadows its boss, but this one just stands there, staring right at the screen, as if to say "Your life is mine! See you a minute!"

That effect where the level is completely black with some rain that only lights up when lightning strikes to reveal a ruined city is a relatively simple effect, but man, it's one of the coolest effects I've seen a game do. It fits amazing well with the grim-sounding music and the sheer number of enemies this stage throws at you, meaning you don't quite have enough to time to see what's going on in the background when the lightning strikes. It's incredibly tense and I love it.

If you think about it this way I think its even better: that ruined city is actually a copy of Amnelia in a Thiima dimention created by G.T. to mess with the silver hawk pilots heads, thats why when you come out of the water you end up in space. You broke out of G.T.'s illusion

This was such an awesome shooter. I loved how slow the bosses moved, really conveyed their size and power and put the fear into you as to what the hell they were going to do next.

i love the motifs of the final bosses areas of this game. while in zone Nu (Genesis) we have the beginning of all, in this one (Grave of Culture), is the end of all. the phases of this game it's just eyecandy

This is my favorite level in the game cause it has the most atmosphere and gives you a real sense of dread and shows just what those things are capable of and well it’s one of those levels that makes stop and look at it through those brief flashes of lightning

So you have in the beginning of the level, you're in the dark. And as lightning strikes, you see the ruins of a city. That's pretty damn creepy. Especially when you realize that Great Thing is lurking around the corner until you catch a glimpse of him thanks to the lightning.

Countering beams increases your own beam size. You counter by using your beam against enemy beam and holding rapidfire or tapping shot fast.

I loved G DARIUS of PlayStation though been happens picture processing heavy load sometimes than Arcade version back then. Evaluation was lower than DARIUS GAIDEN as for in Japan. I like fish theme. PC(windows?) version need high spec?
