While I don't currently have a need for a racing helmet, if I do ever purchase one, I think I'll be trying to find one like your new one, the carbon and black is a very nice color combo. Also I'm a bit jealous that you've participated in lemons racing, that's a bucket list event I'd like to tackle eventually, but I don't think any of my current friends are crazy enough to attempt it with me.

Lemons... the most fun you can have with your clothes on! If you’re on their website you can look up teams that need another driver-no need to start your own team!

Do you think this is better than Racequip's carbon fiber PRO model?

How do you like the GForce so far? I’m looking at getting it because of Bell’s back orders as well. Also, is the “GF” logo on the forehead a sticker? I would be looking to remove it if I got it. Thanks!

I like it a lot for what I do with it. Not too heavy for karting, and HANS capable for ChampCar racing. It’s significantly lighter than my old helmet (which I mentioned in the video) and the fit is comfortable with fairly good venting to keep cool. I’d have to confirm but I’m almost positive that the GF is under the clear coat. Thanks for watching, good luck deciding. I don’t think you can go wrong here.

Did you move your HANS posts over to the new helmet with no issue? I read this helmet won’t work with older HANS posts, but that was just a random review. I have a GFORCE carbon 2010 helmet I need to replace and don’t want to have to get new HANS posts. Thanks for the video

I haven’t swapped them yet, but I’ll be doing that (or trying!) this week. I’ll let you know how it goes!

I'm looking for a snell rated helmet. Nobody around me sells something I'm interested in. I'm looking at a conquer sa2020 but I hear it's heavy. I'm looking for a helmet as I want to do a HPDE. However I might do it once and that'll be it so I don't want to spend a lot of money.

RaceQuip is a great brand for an entry level helmet on a budget. If you aren’t sure of your long-term usage, it’s a great option. They can be found on Amazon for about $200 which is tough to beat.

@@AustinRexinger thanks. I ended up buying a g force revo online (not Amazon tho) I don't use Amazon anymore

Would you be able to swap the racequip visor over to the G force helmet?
@AustinRexinger Жыл бұрын
No unfortunately they are not swappable, but G Force is relatively affordable when it comes to their visors. I have the clear that came with along with an amber and a mirrored. Same as what I had with RaceQuip. I think three visors is best to handle any light situations.
