I have this scope on my real steel 5.56... works flawlessly... The OEM for this scope is NcStar as it says so on the box... I have a Ncstar 4-12x50 on my hunting rifle and it holds recoil without a problem so I had no question this one will hold up..

Just got this short dot for my UA LVOA and it is amazing! The quality of the glass is right up there with some of the Primary Arms and Tru Glo optics that I have used but it at about half the cost. The gun will reach out well past 250ft with .36 gram bbs and I needed a good magnified scope to see that far. So it is a perfect fit for me! 10/10

Hey, Johnathan! question for the Q&A (forgive me if I'm asking this in the wrong place): I'm thinking about getting into airsoft as it looks like a REALLY fun sport but I have a problem; due to an unfortunate medical condition, the right half of more torso (particularly the side of the torso) and stretching down to my right knee is hyper-sensitive to touch; simply touching it with no pressure can be extremely uncomfortable and, at times, even hurt. Is there any kind of armor (or gear of any sort) you would recommend to help with this? I really don't want this to keep me from participating in the sport. Love the videos, keep 'em coming! :)

This scope kinda reminds me of like a modernized PSO-1 Dragunov scope or something like that, I would definitely recommend putting this on like an eastern block rifle.

Scopes like this are the way forward. I keep mine on about 2.2/2.5 Perfect for that little extra vision when you need to see where you are shooting and spotting hidden players

How well do you think a Knights Armament KAC Airsoft 556 QDC Mock Silencer would work on my gun. I play in wooded and cqb field. Do the suppressors stay on well, even If i hit it up against a wall?

I also have a premium CQB scope, and it's true what Johnatan is saying, a nice glass is nice, I can see through it better than with my naked eye. Mine says 1-4x but in reality it's also 1.1-4x, I wish they would have made it a real 1 power because I can't use it with both eyes open.

Buy a great lexan lens protector that installs in the scope.....or buy a lexan lens and cut it to the scope's diametre

An easy(ish) solution is to get a flip-down cover that mounts on your scope and then cut a lexan disc the size of the inner diameter of said cover and slip it inside, between the cover and your scope. This will hide it visually, make it easy to change when damaged and hold it securely in place. And you get a scope cover for transporting the gun, running through the woods or to help see the dot in harsh lighting.

Nipple viking even in ripoff Britain you can get it for £50. Has a much better reticule to in my opinion. Type vision king on ebay. Loads of good reviews on airsoft sites too. For £130 I'd go for the ncstar short dot scope.

For £130 you are talking Nikko Stirling diamond. Proper glass. By far the best short dot style and i have owned the VK and NCstar already.4

Typically scope rings are matched to the shooter and rifle. Everyone's cheek and eye placement is different. I have a long head so a higher scope is more comfortable.

I personally love these, because I can combine my VisionKing shortdot, with my NVGs when play at night milsims, if you have a lit (fam) up reticle, this will fuck up your NV said the least. Other than that, they just look cool.

+Hannibal Military Merc They've become popular because people have found out that shortdot style scopes are just as heavy or lighter than a red dot and magnifier except transitions are easier. In close ranges you put it to one and it's a red dot, especially on the high priced options, and at further distances you up the mag and can connect hits faster than a red dot, along with being able to id your target. They also help with seeing targets at range in low light conditions. So since they've become very popular with real guns, people want to see if it translates in airsoft and it probably does to a degree, but a lot of people also want to look cool in airsoft.
