So after a year of having this gun I can give quiet a good a review on it. So pros: Body quality is excelent Gun is very light Very easy to handle Trigger push is very crisp and fast Reaktion time of trigger awesome and double taps too Rate of fire good Hop up unit, 100 % seal Cons: The hop up unit is a nightmare, I bought the gun and noticed that the hop up wasn't working. After I took it apart I noticed that the hop up knob didn't push through the hole in the barrel. After that I bought one that fit and the problem was that it was too big and was pushing way too much and was hindering the BB. Anther thing was that the play between barrel and hop up unit was very small so it was extremely difficult to adjust the hop up bucking correctly and it was a nightmare. Had to change the barrel and now it works just fine. Conclusion: the gun has a lot good features but for the price I think such problems shouldn't occure

This looks real nice! This years G&G releases have really been an improvement over the last 7 years of mediocracy. Good to see them moving back into making quality AEGs. I was real lucky back in 2005 when I purchased my G&G GR16 and it was not a lemon, still works like a dream.

*Time stamp **9:35** chrono test* The rate of fire (RPM) & power output (m/s) was wrong in this video.. it didn’t match up with what the chrono was showing.. He said 1500 rounds per second.. but looking at the chrono it says 854.5 RPM which converts to 14.21 RPS so he meant to say 15 rounds per second, not 1500 lol. Also the text on screen said just under 400 FPS, but if you do the conversion, your see that 105 m/s is more like 344 FPS.. Still an amazing rifle. I’m off to browse the website 👍🏼

Question, Why do manufactures build the cylinder body separate from the cylinder head? Why not just build the two pieces as one unit?

There are options for that. The Seal is great but it is very hard to silence those guns etc. You can't really install sorboplates etc. on the inner side.

Cheaper and simpler for factories to manufacture and assemble en masse. Same reason most small changes take a few generations to be adopted in airsoft. You see this mentality a lot in engines and computer panels.

@@ema1671 mushroom piston heads are trash and add a shitload of weight to your piston assembly while not absorbing close to the amount of shock a sorbothane pad does. When you're building a high rate of fire gun, you want your piston assembly to be as light as possible.

What do you mean by, "shitload of weight to piston assembly", I have flat piston heads that weight more then mushroom piston heads, plastic and non-plastic. What do you mean by trash? Can you quantify the amount of shock absorbed by sorbo pads vs mushroom piston heads? Sorbo is made from a harder material then the foam on the mushroom piston head. Also the amount of mass you could reduce by using a lighter piston head is negligible compared to amount of force behind the piston and show no gain on ROF or FPS.

Bought one of these insane machines a few days ago, absolute beast of an airsoft rifle. Abit if caution though, I have found alot of the larger butterfly lipos tend to be quite a tight fit within the buttstock. I run a 7.4v 2600 lipo and she just about fits into the stock lol.

I got the G&G Wild Hog 9". Best gun ive own so far (even tho its a bitch to front wire due to MOSFET). Only thing i hate is thr handguard assembly. Its such a pain in the ass to dissasemble and reassemble it. Highly recommended to get that replaced

Just got one, It seems the trigger is a bit mushy in semi, do these examples feel the same in semi/full? In full its a nice, clean microswitch feel, and in semi it's mushy and sometimes feels notchy.

My tr16 g2 have just arrived yesterday,im completely amazed by the trigger response (using 11.1v) and it's laser beam in full auto mode..but I noticed the fps rate it is just around 360-370 fps,I thought its gonna be around 400 fps or slightly below..what bb weight should I use for better range output?

Pay special attention to the way your field identifies teams. Look for armbands, or flags, or lack there of if you're on a team that doesn't have them. It's all field specific really, just make sure you verify who you're shooting at before you send bbs down range.

Liked, ive been playing for quite long and i could say that experience does this thing where you just know that their friendly. But still it happens so what i do is i just point my gun at them until they identify me as friendly. If their foe, its really fun because its like those cowboy standoffs where speed and attentiveness becomes handy. Ps i play MilSim most of the time and they dont really give out team bands. SentientBroom0 there should be a tiny grub screw on the flash hider base, loosen - then unscrew counter clockwise. If not it may simply be stiff, remember CCW threads. It could also be glued, submerge it in boiling water, or heat up with a hair dryer, then try turning it :)

yes, ive just got one and most standard mid and high cap m4 style mags will fit. it just meand that you can dry fire the gun and the auto stop feature wont work with them mags. i use standard g&g mid caps in mine!

You can run an 11.1v battery in the Avalon. I would recommend an Intellect 11.1v stick type, they have one that's 1000mah with a 20c output which is all you should need (roughly 20-25 rps). You can fit 2 or 3 in their QRS stock

I'm having trouble setting up burst fire modes. I'm holding down the trigger whilst on single fire mode and the MOSFET doesn't emit a beep after 10 or so seconds confirming that 3 round burst has been applied. Tony Dobosiewicz On which parts specifically? Silicone oil, depending on the viscosity, only has a couple applications for AEGs , but is generally not necessary.

Tony Dobosiewicz I would advise against using silicone in your barrel, and definitely not in your hop. Unfortunately there's allot of misinformation out there, take it from a gun tech, use isopropyl/rubbing alcohol instead. If you are tempted to use the silicone, use a tiny bit, making sure it doesn't touch the hopup, then ensure the oil is cleaned out with a couple dry swabs :)

Tony Dobosiewicz yeup! Rubbing alcohol is also safe to use on the hop rubber as well. So are certain 100% (aggrevant free) silicone oils, but if you get silicone on the hop rubber, it would muck it up, as hop up relies on grip/ friction, silicone would equal the opposite.
