You can always tell in their songs that Yuqi and Minnie are the most fluent in English, and Miyeon actually has great English pronunciation from what I've heard. I love Soyeon but I have to say, her pronunciation hasn't improved much. Hahah. Oh well, we love her anyway. The awkward English is basically a part of her unique style, at this point. @@thedominasian soyeon writes songs and each members part according to their strengths so yuqi and minnie have lots of eng lines and soyeon actually improved her eng pronunciation a ton during tour i was shocked. And the “awkward English” in their songs is because soyeon likes to mix korean grammar and English grammar and it’s actually pretty cool. I saw someone try to rewrite queencard lyrics in english and it was cringe af it went viral for being so bad lol people realised why soyeon wrote the lyrics the way she did. The truth is its harder to use simple terms and short lines to convey a message than to turn the sing into some essay and make it sound cringe. I respect soyeon so much for that. To her, its about the message to be conveyed rather than having 0 grammar errors in the song. If she were to write a love song she would probably make 0 grammar errors since its straight up and easy but its hard to do that with songs that are supposed to make an impact of some sort in the society or peoples lives

For everyone always trying tocorrect intl fans on Yuqi's name pronunciation - here you can clearly hear her introduce herself as Yoo-Ki. She accepts all 3 pronunciations (oogi, yoochee, and yooki) so we can all move on now 😅

It's actually pronounced yǔ qí. For the first syllable, you need to say yee but shape your mouth like you're saying ooh and say it in a lower pitch than you normally would. For the second syllable, you need to say chee (like cheese without the s sound) but say it like you're asking a question.

I've tried Buldak 'Stew Type' 'Hot Chicken flavor', but they were super sweet tasting for some reason🤨 Don't know if anything from Buldak is that heavily sweetened, but that one was just unbearable to me. FYI: these girls are the only self produced girl group in mainstream music industry . They write, produce, arrange all their album tracks,come up with the concepts, styling and performances, and they are million sellers with 12mil listeners of Spotify and sell out concerts globally. So put some respect on their name before being ignorant and stereotype them as “just another kpop group on this channel and we don’t want it blah blah” all of their songs are full of strong ideas about self love, confidence, and they’re making a powerful and positive impact on the music industry today. @@BlueStar0788 yes! The other members also produce/write/compose for the album but soyeon is the big brain behind their album themes and messages to be released through the album. Album theme most of the time is inspired by the members and each word and each melody in each track of the album is written specific to different members’ personality/vocal characteristic and vibe! You can tell which member wrote which song very clearly and it makes following their music so much fun and YES they(especially soyeon) deserve so much respect!!
