It's rare for (g)i-dle to do a smiley face, poppy, pure fun, and happy song but they show that they can nail that genre also. Written by Soyeon, Composed by Soyeon & pop time, Arranged by Soyeon and pop time. Dumdi Dumdi got 6 show wins.

HANN (Alone) - the one you reacted to already, HANN (Alone in winter) - a bside from the I Burn album, and HWAA were written as a trilogy. From my understanding, both Hann and Hwaa as words have multiple meanings based on the context they're used in, and that's why during Soyeon's rap in HWAA she says "Once I untangle hann...". (G)I-DLE are one of the more unique girl groups in kpop. While there are other girl groups that are involved in writing and producing their songs, (G)I-DLE takes it to the next level, and are involved in pretty much every aspect of their comebacks. From writing songs, to producing, arranging, concepts, choreography, they do it all. There's 3 members that are producers. Soyeon writes and produces most of the songs, including ALL of their title tracks from debut (Latata) up until the most recent one (Nxde). Minnie wrote and produced a song (Blow Your Mind) on their 2nd album (I Made). In 2020 Minnie and Yuqi co-wrote and co-composed a song (I'm the Trend) dedicated to Neverland, the groups fandom. Ever since then they've both been writing and producing bsides for the group alongside Soyeon. And while she hasn't written anything for the group yet, Miyeon has written lyrics to one song on her solo debut album too.

@@myjam1998 Yup, they were the standout performers in it. I am not sure if Mnet recovered the videos since there was a crypto hack on their channel that removed all the videos but Idle's queendom performances were literally the most viewed ones from season 1.

In the song HWAA, the lyrics describe the emotions of a woman after a breakup which are expressed as fire. This song is also collaborated with traditional Asian instruments, which describes the se aura such as umbrellas and traditional fans, backdrops, to the hairstyles and clothes of some of the members who look beautiful. Carrying a summer theme, 'DUMDi DUMDi' is a dance song with a tropical base and moombahton rhythm. The MV for the song shows the excitement of (G) I-DLE members enjoying a summer full of energy. LION is a song previously released by (G) I-DLE while participating in the Queendom survival program on Mnet. LION ” tells about the dignity and charisma of a queen who is depicted or resembles a lion. This song contains struggles, patience, and wounds to secure and occupy the throne

I am def not a fan of any of the 4th gen grps like kinda too girly for my taste , but gidle has a 3d gen vibe, much cooler and badass .ATM GGs i am interested in are dreamcatcher ,gidle and a bit BP . Literally Can't vibe with the others tbh .

"Once I entangle Hann..." yes, there's a spoiler there. 'Hwaa' is actually a part of a trilogy, you should check the other two: 1. Hann (Alone) 2. Hann (Alone in Winter) 3. Hwaa (Fire-Flower) Soyeon (the rapper, who made most of their songs) is inspired by a Korean poem when writing this trilogy. As to what the message means behind them, I'd let you to interpret it yourself. It's beautiful :) Also please react to my favorite performance of them (or of Kpop lol): 'Put It Straight (Nightmare vers.)'. Trust me, these girls were born to perform

Thanks for the reaction You may already know, we all mess up the group name the first times xD It's (G)I-DLE or just I-DLE "G" (or yeoja in Korean writing) stands for girls, sinc begining the group tends to get ride of the G (or yeoja) because of preconceptions on female idols, the G was imposed by their company "I" means their all have their own individuality (as you got it just right) "DLE" is the plural in Korean So the group name means (6 before now) 5 individualities as one group All their songs are insane, almost all their songs are made by them: Soyeon mainly, then more and more Minnie and Yuqi (only side projects and first mini album b-sides are not produced by them, Soyeon almost always writes her rap - only didn't for her persona in K/DA project) All their title tracks/ major songs are produced by Soyeon (composition, lyrics, sometimes arrangements, mainly with BigSancho 'YummyTone' or PopTime as co-producer) They also are really good performers you'll enjoy them a lot, they are unique, bold and skilled I thing you'll really their b-sides, their b-sides are no skip, you likely know MY BAG but actually all their b-sides are really good, especially since I BURN album (through I MADE an I TRUST have insane b-sides too like "put it straight" or "maybe") Some b-sides recommendation: I BURN album: MOON, DAHLIA both produced by Minnie (Soyeon main lyricist for MOON) I NEVER DIE album: VILLAIN DIES produced by Soyeon, LIAR produced by Yuqi I LOVE album: Change, Sculpture both produced by Minnie (Soyeon main lyricist for Sculpture)

any 6person MV they did are no longer connected to the 5person MV. that was the official stance, not sure about the future. They now have to face a problem of loosing Soojin and how are they going to move forward, "NxDE" and "Tomboy" is their answer(definitely a debut of 5members). The path they want to take is introducing concept(important) and putting suitable music that use either sample or original of what fits better for the concept, artistic(my Bias opinion) production same reason in music(AESPA is the same although its about 1 concept(story in the virtual world) and unreal visual like Karina and Winter) and making it suitable in each member strength instead of just creating good music(original) and dressing it with good MV and Great Dancing(BTS).
