If you look carefully, actually Soyeon put "Soojin" in ALL the MV somehow even after she left. At Tomboy, there's Six balloons instead of five. My Bag, it said red FIVE diamonds in my bag, so is Soyeon plus another FIVE members. At Nxde, the cartoon girl are "Soojin". Soyeon always treat Soojin as part of Idle still even she didn't speak it out loud.

Yes..Soyeon is the ace..she's the leader, the rapper, the dancer, the singer, the song producer, the lyricist, the concept creator, the mentor and the heart stealer...girl has so many talent in her tiny body..and yesss we still love Soojin, she's forever a part of the group.. One thing about Gidle that maybe no other groups have is that their music is quirky & experimental (being a self-produced group is a huge benefit for them)..It's gonna be hit or miss to some people..But, for sure they are like an artist creating some art using music, not just generic kpopish stuff..

For me, IDLE's concept and storytelling made me follow them on top of their visuals, quirkiness (wait til you see their behind the scenes, vlogs, etc), and individual talents. And trust me, I don't listen to any kpop, I heard songs coz it's popular here in my country and it's everywhere, but I never followed any group, and IDLE is not even that popular here. I stanned them because of their genius. Some info (long comment) -This song shows how Soyeon is a genius when it comes to concept and story. She stated that while creating this, she wanted people to ask "what was she thinking?" or "what does she meant by that?", and those questions are still being asked until now. She never really gave an explanation for the true meaning of the song. -There are theories like forbidden/toxic love, lgbt love, and even biblical. This is due to the visuals and the "SHE and HER" in the lyrics. But Soyeon explained that the "she" can be anything. Anything that is a temptation to us that can make us go wrong even if we knew that it is wrong. She then added "Music should not be bound by gender since music is for everyone" (non-verbatim) -OH MY GOD is the title track of their 3rd album "I TRUST". This album have 2 versions, TRUE and LIE, being black and white in color. Soyeon explained that the "TRUE" is often kept in the dark since it's something we hide for others to like us. And that white "LIE" that we often show so that others will love us, but not being honest with ourselves. -Connecting to that, in the MV, you can see Minnie getting dragged into that clean white room, and gradually she gets dirt on her pretty white dress and skin. This shows that she's embracing that TRUTH within her even if other see her as "dirty". (This is the concept and message as well for NXDE). -The 3 chorus actually have 3 different choreos and sound. First is like "omg, what have I done?", thus the chorus drop is deep from the build up, just like the guilt after pleasure. Second chorus is from our seductive Soojin, that brings out that temptation and "call from hell", and them acknowledging that and paying the piper even though they know it's bad for them, just like licking the barbwire (rap). And the last chorus is lively because they accepted it and showing it and saying like "omg, took me to the sky" while lip biting. This is also why the dirt on Minnie started from her fingertips (1st) to her lips, eyes, arms (2nd) and then she just rolled in the mud (3rd). -though you may not see it in the MV, in their jacket shoot for the album, everything is conceptualized by Soyeon. Their hair, accessories, nail arts, make up. Everything have a meaning that helps the story. ~~fun facts: -Minnie had to shower multiple times during the shoot coz of the dirt, paint, wine, mud, etc. on her -Miyeon stayed on that high pedestal til her shooting was over since it's tedious for her and the crew to go up and down just for makeup and accessory retouch, so she finished the shoot quickly -One of Soyeon's signature is licking whatever. She even have a licking tutorial on OMG's behind the scenes -Though the barbwires are fake (obvi), they are actually surrounding the girls and with the thought of sharp barbs is claustrophobic -Shuhua's dress have a super long gown attached so she cannot move as well from that platform while shooting. It was actually an exciting set for her coz of all the dancers around her worshipping. -But Shuhua can't contain herself during the "AB IMO PECTORE" scene with Soojin. You'll learn enough about them once you watch BTSs ~~~~ If you want to know them more, their behind the scenes is called "I-TALK" and they have short version vlogs "I-LOG". They have multiple series as well that you can check once you heard most of their songs (to avoid spoilers)

Oh my god was one of the MVs I understood easily because it just connected to the lyrics so much. It had the religious feel for Shuhua and Miyeon being godesses and Soojin the Devil being freed by taking over Soyeon,Minnie and Yuqi. You can see each girl getting "darker".
