actually there is an uncensored version of this song, they sang it on concerts and MMA 2022, you should react to it! one fact about this song, this is the first comeback after soojin left the group in 2021 because of the false bullying allegations, they took a long hiatus before releasing this song. Soojin now is a soloist if you wanted to check her out. All songs under this album are fire named 'i never die'.

Tomboy is about gender expectations. Not really about looking/dressing like a tomboy. It’s about women being able to do things considered “masculine” in Korean society and still be feminine. Drinking, smoking, having sex, all of the those things are mentioned in the song and that’s actually a really taboo topic there especially when it comes to women and female idols. And they took out the G from (G)i-dle at the end to say that music is for everyone and it doesn’t matter what gender they are they are just i-dle, neither man nor women

There is an uncensored version, and they sing it in concerts and sometimes on TV. And the whole audience sings with them. Also when Miyeon sings "you call me crazy" she is actually saying "you call me a crazy b****". A few Idle songs have language which doesn't make it to the closed captions. Also, a tomboy in Korea is a woman who speaks her mind. Different connotation than here. The "me Idle" part is a reference to how the band started out. They wanted to be called Idle, but the record company would not allow it and insisted on G-Idle. By stating that its me Idle, they're taking back their name.

Whether any of them are part of the rainbow isn't something they have shared - most of them have openly talked about guys they have dated. Remember that before "oh my god" they sang "Senorita", a song clearly directed at a man.

I posted same comment under previous Gidle video, but it was kinda late so I'm just gonna past it here again in case you didnt see it (some album recomendations), but I dont want to spam it so next ones are gonna be more focused on videos :) I see you have no problem of making longer videos, so I reeeally recommend the whole gidle album reactions, maybe here on yt, maybe on patreon. You already know that they have their own style and often deeper meanings, you can see it better when you listen to whole albums. Often Title tracks are made by Soyeon but Yuqi and Minnie also write and produce many songs, then you'll get a chance to hear them. All off their albums are good, they even won Daesag Record of the year at MMA lately, if you want you can start from oldest ones but I recommend the most I burn and I Love (this one listen in reversed order) Tomboy dance practice is awesone, there's more I liked a lot so it's always worth to check them out! 2:57...there is an UNCENSORED VERSION, and they performed that in MAMA 2022, in front of all other idols and fans😂😂😂 They also perform the uncensored version in their concerts *Please react to that uncensored version* 7:19... actually G is Girl, but IDLE is korean word which means children. Basically Gidle means children with different types of aura 9:19... they're mainly vocal rich group, but in their MVs of 6 members they did have much harder choreo as the former member was the main dancer. But since Tomboy they mainly focused on their vocal performance This era they removed the G from their group name, even from the album cover...as they wanted to surpass gender borders, which is also the message of TOMBOY
