G.I. Joe Classified Series: Dreadnoks Ripper & Buzzer Unboxing and Review

I grew up with GI Joe and I'm all in on this line. The nostalgia factor is strong, but I love the feeling that there's a story and every character feels so unique and specialized. One thing that doesn't necessarily matter, but is worth mentioning--the men and women of this line are all nice looking. The dudes are so incredibly attractive, it's nuts. Ripper might be the best looking of the line. Always liked the bad boys. lol

Hey! I couldn't agree more dude! This line has got me back into collecting Gijoe hardcore! I love this Classified line eventhough they have their flaws and some quality issues but overall they are delivering some great figures! The Dreadnoks being my favorite. Can't wait for Torch and hopefully a Zandar will be coming soon. I'm so back into collecting Gijoe that now I want everything. I'm buying original 3 3/4 figures, 25 anniversary figures, basically anything with a Joe logo on it. I'm glad you're loving this line as much as I am. I actually started going the other way around, since I'm in Canada. I ship one at a time now to get around paying duty on larger shipments, 😁. If the Gov't was all about the carbon reduction, wouldn't it make sense to have to pay less on larger shipments? 🤔

Yeah, something in my order with eCollectibles is holding up the shipment. They claimed all the stuff was in stock but either Buzzer, Hawk or Helix is apparently not (plus some Action Force figs and stuff). Have you gotten into the Action Force yet? I feel like I asked but don't remember@@destrosdesk

Great review! The best thing I've found for attaching those glasses is something called Joe's Sticky stuff. It's a double sided adhesive that can be rolled into a tiny ball and will stick plastics together but can be pulled apart without damaging the plastic. Its a perfect solution for these situations and it has been used for years in the art departments for film and tv production. Just don't use it on paper.

I’m happier with Buzzer over all, not a fan of the gappy waist joint on Ripper and Shipwreck, it is nice that Ripper is fully pinless tho. Ripper’s definitely got more character especially with that great head sculpt.

Hey! Ya I like Buzzer too except for those stupid glasses. I'm still trying to figure out a fix for that. My favorite is Ripper. I think that is a great figure. I didn't notice any waist gaps on mine. So far the worse waist goes to Firefly 2.0.

I’d try wood glue, like elmers. It shouldn’t take much to hold them in place and it should be easy to remove if you change your mind.

Most people don’t like the style of the glasses, but they remind me of welders goggles, I think they’re kinda cool. Rippers shade sure fit better tho

Ya I wasn't happy about that. Hawk is the same. Wrong hands for guns. Those hands are basically for now and arrows.
