I love this figure. My copy arrives in 5 days. My dad was a Force Recon Marine who had 4 combat tours in Vietnam ('65,'66,'68,'69,) and one advisory tour in '64. He spent '67 as an instructor at the Jungle Warfare Training Center in Okinawa. So, growing up in the '80s, when my dad and I played with my GI Joe RAH toys, he was teaching me all about small unit combat tactics. He died in '87, but man, oh man, he would have loved the hell out of this figure. I'm planning a bookshelf diorama of Stalker, Tiger Force Outback, Spirit & Freedom, Alpha Commando Snake Eyes & Timber, Old Man Hawkeye (Marvel Legends), Classified Origins Scarlett, and Kill Switch (Valaverse Action Force.) Mixing it up against a slew of Cobra ninjas, Firefly, Storm Shadow, and Zartan with Guenhwyvar (Drizzt's huge black panther from the Hasbro set.) This is gonna be a 60" wide 12" deep, 14" high forest diorama just underneath my TV in my Audio Video Monolith. Replacing what had been 2 6" tall shelves of BluRay cases. Also, it was kinda awesome to see the likes at 999, and be the one to kick it over to 1k.

I would expect that regret to last up until the point you see the pegs in the stores are empty, pre-orders are sold out within seconds and the only people that seem to find the figures are content creators. As stated in this video he gives a shout out to another content creator. I don’t mean this in a negative way just stating facts.

Fact is Hasbro has done a terrible job with distributing figures and getting them in the hands of collectors. I will say they have done a great job with the designs after Wave 1.

The 1st rifle in the pack is an M-32 "Pulverizer" like the old figure back in the RAH line. The big machine gun looks like an upgraded FN type machine gun (I don't remember the name, although I'm usually good with weapon classifications and identifications).

I got a feeling that if you combined Flint and Stalker, you’d get a pretty good kitbash for a Sgt. Johnson figure and MasterChief being taller works well for this scale because he’s supposed to be 7 feet tall.

he looks old............which is great! gives the line some subtle history. formulaic as it is.....i was hoping that in Retaliation, the Joes would have to call upon older members, led by Stalker, to help them with their mission. but, no. we got one-note Willis and a bunch of unnamed, almost faceless, extras.

good review bro it s worth it to roll back a few mins - months to see your scenes - poses I ve seen Stalker s reviews before this one, but yours are always excellence Stalker ok, I got him now, and... he looks much older some might say more realistic now I m thinking... will retro card be younger, and more attractive as Duke? mmmmmm Gung ho is waaay better too, I have the 'poor' man s classified version he s like Stalker, ok his file says he was a gang member, a 'quick' man, street smart before Doc, I used him as the medic, he s qualified this is why I like fewer members, you get to know your agents, and what they really can do the comics from 1 to 10 is my style for Joes, A - team - mission impossible military elite team after that comes Kwin & Dr Venom stupid liberties which we did not ask for it became like a soap with Snake and switching agents before you can get to know them, forget all about those who were not on shelves except Snake and Cobra Commander ....it was crap, and the cartoons were mostly for kids with lasers.... you were better on your own and pick some ideas basing your concept on Joe s releases and file cards to get ahead on story - script even then, Stormy turning, or Serpentor, Cobra la, Overlord were just confusing hey, I paid, and Serpy is CC s pet project and gives him good pr that s it! the others? nothing but a bad dream bro, a bad dream Hasbro left the best part out, Pythona, she was inspiring ah man, I d really like loose backpacks sold in pairs, I d make him fly like the cartoons, that, I liked! btw, I never took him out of his box yet I pretty much only had class Duke and Scarlett then, that explains it now I have also Hawk and Snakes, Rock and Gung ho, it ll be worth it to open that treasure, mmmm the comparisons ahhh, with Snake, like the ol days! mm, next to Gung ho, I love the size dif, looks so legit now. aahhh, I want loose ram cycles! It looks like a simplified cross between the M249 and the XM250, mainly because they left off the suppressor that comes with the XM. Either way, he's carrying a heavy load!
