Putting the stickers on was always my favorite part about these toys. Assembling them as well. Real sad they got rid of that part. Totally sucks, man!

I did, and apparently in Retaliation all the Joes are ninjas and Roadblock's the main guy.... WHY?!?! Leave it to Snake Eyes and 1 or 2 more. The Joes are commandos, not ninjas. :P

I have one of these Dan its a nice tank but you did hit on the key points of its short fall. one thing you should know is that Cobra Commander is based on a unlreased Gi joe body (which had full articulation ! ) but hasbro decided to downgrade it to a brick :(

I actually didn't mind the articulation on the Commander, because it reminded me of the old Kenner Star Wars stuff

Hey dan if u want red windows just get a red sharpie and color in the parts of the shield that u want red like the box art. Ive used this method on my transformers and it works great. Best of luck to u nice review as always

Great review! I purchased it based on this and several other reviews. One thing I'd like to note is that the main turret does lock into place. At least mine does.

This HISS tank is okay, thougth the original from 1983 is still number one in my book. I hope that the rest of the action figures for GI Joe Retalition have more articulation since Hasbro now has the ability to do that like we saw in the 25th anniversary/ROC/POC and 30th anniversary lines.

The gun in the front of the body fits loosely so I have to put tape on the connection point to thicken it.

Strike mode would have looked better if the middle turret also turned up on a large joint in the middle. Without knees I am surprised he fits in the cockpit that would have been horrible if the thing didn't even fit in there.

Kinda looks like the Blue Thunder helicopter from the 1983 movie Blue Thunder....just with the tank treads and no helicopter blades.

Hi..just to let u kno the cannon on top did lock in place after all...dont know if u or anyone else realized that...just push it in a little and it will click on instead of just sitting there loose...I realized that wen I got mine today...

Actually Dan the original Joe's we had back in 82-83 had more articulation than this figure, believe me.

I do not think I will get this tank. The turret looks way too wobbly from where it does not actually lock down to the full, like a turret should! The cannon cannot pivot up and down, like a cannon should! The treads on the tank are solid plastic, and do not move, like tank treads should! Hasbro got really cheap on the making of this toy.

What gets me is that those cuts on producing the figure is not for us ! We get a cheaper made figure or vehicle at the price of a well made one ! I aint buying this !

Cheap vehicle and no articulation to decent figure mold equals NO SALE for me. I will not buy cheaply articulated figures and will continue to do so on all Hasbro products done like this. Hasbro will turn into Mattel if they continue making poorly articulated figures in the 3 3/4 size.
