Back in the 70's I was sitting with the son of a Professor of Nuclear Engineering who was a mathematician who expressed complex equations in multiplications. His university was in Montreal. Then I discussed the idea of dual nationality as the Vietnam War had ended. I thought that was maybe Canadians living in the US with dual nationality would be able to prevents wars by the US. Later Prime Minister Trudeau brought in dual citizenship to Canada. My idea of dual nationality was to prevent wars. I was wrong in that it can also lead to war as warmongers in another nation could bring neutral nations to their side and form alliances. Many Jews in America have dual nationalty in the US and Israel and they are in the US Congress. Anyway, Ailing Gu's anonymous male DNA donor MAYBE Jewish. Qipao is not China's national dress. It is Manchu. Would Ailing or Eileen wear Hanfu?

滿族已經并入中國,是中國的一部分。旗袍在民國時期最流行。

@@annlin0515 Cheongsam is not worn by young Chinese women in China. It represents a shameful period where the British had posters saying: "No dogs and Chinese allowed". My mother wore it on banquets but mostly it is by overseas Chinese Huakew in Hong Kong, US, UK etc. Even Hollywood stars wore them like Nicole Kidman. Manchus never had Han in high office and the Chinese were forced to wear the "pigtails". Cixi even diverted defense funds for the summer palace and had a secret horde of silver taels which were stolen by Chiang Kai Shek when he fled China to Taiwan. Chiang Kai Shek didn't want to fight the Japanese even though he took military training there where he was used as a "gopher" to clean stables and never taught the fundamentals of artillery by the dishonest and cunning Japanese. He didn't want to show his lack of military skills. It is probably the Manchus that go to Korean and Japanese restaurants and went to Japan when Japan dumped radio-active sewage into the sea. Qipao cannot be the national dress as the Manchus were oppressors as well.
